I don't have many positive things to say about Eurovision this year, but one thing I'm so grateful for is that it introduced me to Bambie. I hope they know they're making a difference with their art <3

Im a 58 year male from Australia and watched her performance on Eurovision with my wife and we were both abit shocked with her performance. I can see the great effort in the performance. This haunting version of The Cranberries is absolutely brilliant what a fantastic version, I love it. Through the decades we had controversial artists such as Madonna, Marilyn Manson, Bjork, Lady Gaga. Now we have Bambie Thug our next superstar. You will be huge. Congratulations.
  • This song is still so relevant today, sadly. We have failed as humanity. I love Bambie, though. Great take on this classic track.

When Bambie is a famous rockstar, selling out arenas world wide, we can say we were there from the beginning. 😉

i love that bambie thug looks like a bad witch but gives off such good witch vibes and has good witch morals, standing up for peace, uniqueness and equality
  • The fact that they selected THAT particular song to cover is another well-deserved middle finger to the EBU! Keep on fighting the good fight, the world needs more artists like them! ❤

Bambie has 'ceasefire' written on their face in Ogham, an Irish alphabet from the Middle Ages. Extremely prescient given today's unfolding of events and the context of the original Cranberries version (and not to mention the debacle that was Eurovision this year)

Covers are hard to pull off, it's hard to give new value to a song which earned its place in our memories. But this one is just briliant!

Please put this on Spotify omg 🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤

I grew up loving the original. As you sing it, there is a powerful contempt in your voice, which feels so distinct. I detach the song from where and when it came. And I hear it now, sung about now. And it chills me, and It lingers with me. A good spell.
  • I'm a Christian and love them. They are definitely unique. There are too many posers in the world. Discovering them was a breath of fresh air.

Every aspect of this production is amazing artistry for an important moment in Irish history. The subtle reference to 1916 is truly inspired. Go Ireland!
  • Being Goth for decades, it's impossible not to burst into tears of endless joy when watching this masterpiece of dark art: I couldn't be represented in a more beautiful, in a more artistic, in a more mesmerizing way!🖤✨️🌙🕯It feels like magic that alternatively minded people like us - souls who are prone to love mysticism, ethereal gloom, spiritual depth and contemplative melancholy - have a voice singing and speaking for them on the biggest stage of the world! All sorts of generic pop have never touched our hearts, hence we oftentimes stayed away from the competition, but this journey together with Bambie is the most wonderful experience I can imagine and this once-in-a-lifetime artist is rendering me speechless over and over again!🖤✨️ I mean, just look at these enchanting aesthetics: This is Trad Goth par excellence, a feast for the eyes, beautifully seductive darkness luring through the screen, shots from another world and clothing I would instantly wear for the rest of my life, and we shall not forget about their make-up which is not only on point but an additional layer of art on top of this immaculate cover!🌙 To release a cover of "Zombie" right before Semifinal 1 is a stroke of genius - not only for an Irish representative and considering that this is THE Irish anthem, but also because we need a voice standing against injustice more than ever before! In sorrowful times like these, where people are being eradicated and the sorrow isn't even seen by many, music can sometimes be the strongest statement to open hearts and eyes. Social criticism has always been something very close to my heart, and I'm insanely proud of Bambie expressing what needs to be addressed and for showing true character and authenticity! And speaking of music, Bambie couldn't have covered this legendary hymn in a more beautiful way: Putting their own stamp on it, filling the melodies with even more darkness and an ethereal ambience, but still paying tribute to the original in the most honouring and respectful way. If you need any more proof for the fact that Ireland is coming for qualification tomorrow and for the WIN in the grand final, just watch this otherworldly masterpiece as well as their show-stopping Eurovision performance! And then don't forget to crown the witch, because a boundary-breaking, hard-working and transcendentally creative artist like this deserves victory and love from all over the world!🇮🇪🧙‍♀️👑🌙✨️🖤

Dont listen to the haters Bambie, you make great art, that the normie sheeple will never understand or be able to do themselves.

The Un-Crowned Witch. Easily the best act out of Eurovision this year! Wasn't even close for me! Great cover and thanks for the banger of an album that is Cathexis! ❤
  • A spellbinding performance. And the timely importance of this song should always be remembered, given the historical (and sadly current) parallels between Ireland and Palestine. Please keep speaking for those who have been rendered silent by the inhumane atrocities. Much love to you ya wicked witch! <3

Это невероятно красиво, чарующе. Мне этот кавер больше всех понравился среди всей череды тупых каверов на эту прекрасную песню
  • @Mar_tinoo
Bambie, please, we need this masterpiece on Spotify, asap!!! 🖤🤍

A fabulous cover and Dolores would approve. Bambie has been a fabulous representative for Ireland. You deserve that ESC 2024 crown. No matter the result tonight or Saturday, Ireland is being taking seriously again in ESC. Crown the witch 👸🏻☘️🇮🇪💯❤️🎙️
