Diana's Final Farewell: A Funeral for the People's Princess

And here I am. Crying in 2023 after watching the 6th season of the show. Wishing that she would have been a queen one day

I remember this. When Prince Harry and Prince William passed through a tunnel, when they came out, i saw them weeping. Like they weeped while walking inside the tunnel so that no people would see them cry, and when they came out, they tried to contain their emotion. Truly, Princess Diana, is the Princess of the Common People.

I remember my mother crying over this but I was too young to understand the kind of impact she has had on people throughout her short life.

The World stood silent as Diana Princess of Wales was laid to rest. 25 years later, it is still heartbreaking.

It still hurts,even after 25 years.May she rest in Peace with the Lord and may God give comfort to all the victim's families.

I was not even alive at this time.., yet she has made a impact on me just by watching her acts of kindness I’m sitting here.. fighting back tears. R.I.P Diana I will never forget you, your the queen of my heart Diana, you have had a huge impact on my life, but I’m so young. What happened to the queen of are hearts is unforgivable .. I'm American but i cried my eyes out the day she died. I was shocked at myself because i didst realize i felt so attached to her. She was very special to many people in the world. May she rest in peace, the Queen of many people's ❤❤❤

It’s the mummy note that gets me every time

I had just turned 27 four days before her funeral. Even 25 years later and I still cry for the boys. She wasn't just England's Rose, she was the world's princess. Here in the US we cried for her too. Absolutely gut wrenching and heart breaking. We loved her and mourned her with you.

What breaks me watching back her funeral is knowing that all those boys probably wanted to do was privately grieve so they could find some way come to terms with their new reality. Instead, they appeased public demand and had to walk through that enormously heavy atmosphere where members of the public were allowed to react more than they were to their own mother’s death. One can see where they may have felt an obligation given Diana’s own commitment to the public, but William’s hung head and Harry’s visible unease say it all.

Unforgettable. One in a billion. “Her beauty, inside and out, will never be extinguished.”

She was so loved. By countless across the world. It was so very, very sad. 💔

Even the security guards were crying. Like, imagine how loved you are that the security guards, trained in the military, are crying.

I wasn’t even born yet for some reason she touches my heart and I feel so much love towards her

No other princess will be honored for eternity by the world like this true princess 💖
