  • @markdemell6087
My grandpa taught me to never trust a man that say's ; I will be honest with you or I won't lie to you !
  • @MarkedMoneyTech
Yeah, I agree it's nice to make connections and network with others in the industry. I appreciate all in the coin community too, where learning from and teaching one another is so helpful. Very nice work sir!

I am fairly new at collecting coins. I actually got into it by helping my husband sort through some coins for him for his hobby. I actually have several "ugly" coins, including quarters , that look exactly like the 1966 quarter you show here. Who would have thought?!?!?!?!?
  • I have a 1998 blackened Washington quarter that looks like George has been through a civil war. The L in LIBERTY is off line. The B looks like the number 8. The top of the E is missing. The R looks like an upside down v. The Y looks like an I It is one of my favorite coins. You would have to see it to appreciate it
  • @jamesatkinsonsr
I was astounded by the 1966 quarter because I received one in my change the other day. I put it under my microscope and it is just like yours, but brighter

Shawn... you draw things out just right. I and my husband Larry learn so much from you. We both think your great. Thank you for all your help and keep on coinin
  • @terrisuitor5441
I would have passed that up. I’m just not good at spotting DDO’s or DDR’s unless they’re as obvious as the 55, 72, Lincoln’s etc. That coin is just not obvious enough for me! Your trained eye shouldn’t be sold short sir! But that’s way cool for those of you that can see that!!!!
  • He's pretty brave or smart to get that graded but worth it obviously
  • I’m in NJ I have a 1966 with raised letter “T’s” on the back where it says United States of America. However every coin shop/collector I call around NJ and PA they say they’ve never heard of this and they say it’s an Internet gimmick. Is there anyway you can help me out and point me in the right direction of where I could sell it fast in NJ

Hellooo good morning to my coin loving family. I have one of them ugly 1966 quarter it's very dark in color but I think it's pretty one of a kind to me and I also have me a 1958 black beauty that also looks Good to the eyes that is if you are A real Coin Hunting and COLLECTER. Have A Blessed Day FAMILY
  • I Love watching the Silverhound Coin show and it's really Knollabal.
  • Hi SHAUN. It's me...Margaret...if you have no place to stay you and your family may stay here with me in Pa. THANK YOU. I hope and PRAY the fires stops.. SERIOUSLY....my home has 4 dog's and a duck HOWEVER your family's safety is more important to me. God BLESS❤
  • Thank you for this video ! I have one that thanks to this video I will get graded by PCGS very soon. If it checks out I will share the info. Mine is in alot better shape then the one shown I think any way and it has a thick left Eagle leg as well. It came out of a soda/food machine in my apt. building. I also got some amazing dimes as well with errors. All we can do is try right? My 1st quarter came back a 69 grade, can't remeber what else was listed. I can only guess that my 1966 quarter could maybe make a 67 or 68 grade but who knows, we'll see. I just got 12 UNC state quarters in the mail yesterday. A set of them UNC with a folder is yet to come in the mail. I entered a give away, to try for 12 Trump silver coins with a Bullion company, again you can't 'win' if you don't try right? I hope your power stays on and stay safe. Thank you SO MUCH !
  • @euellharris3910
I’ve been trying to reach you , I have one in better shape then Dave’s , with extra printed number between each number in 1966 stamp
  • @ShirlBussman
Thanks for the info. I appreciate all you do for us collectors. ; D

Hey Shawn! just subscribed to your channel. I'm a newbee in coin collecting and wanted you opinion or suggestion on how to sale a 1983 Quarter with DDR that i recently found coin hunting. The coin is probably in ungraded state but better than some of the worst coins I've seen on your videos. Let me know if maybe I can send some photos of the coin to talk about it on one of your up coming videos. As always I enjoy watching your videos about coin collecting. Peace!
