We found the cosiest little village in Yorkshire. It was a fairytale! Haworth is known for its beautiful heritage railway, long walks through rugged landscape and warm coffeeshops serving some of the best cakes I've had in a long time!

Hope you enjoy my 24 hour guide to this pretty Yorkshire village - I hope you get to visit one day!

If you're wanting to spend the night, here's £25 off your stay: www.airbnb.co.uk/c/samb17716?currency=GBP

  • Thank you for visiting our lovely village. So pleased that you enjoyed it. As a shop keeper on Main Street, it’s a blessing to have so many people coming from all over (outside of restrictions!) to visit us: locals; day trippers (many from Manchester) and so many foreign visitors from almost every nation. One of the benefits of coming when you did is to get an idea of how rugged and tough it has been over the years up on the moors. Brontë Bridge is 2.5 miles from Main Street, with Top Withens a further mile (so a 7 mile round trip). Back on Main Street, Jill at No 10 makes all her own cakes, and they are awesome! The Fleece is a great pub too (includes good quality accommodation too). The Parsonage museum, where the Bronte sisters wrote their infamous novels, is open 7 days a week, but closed throughout January. Well worth a visit. Haworth Wholefood shop, at the top of Main Street, also stock some of the wonderful bread from the Hebden Bridge Saker Bakery - I’m addicted! Come back soon!!

2:51 this is precisely how I pictured Wuthering Heights Landscape. Windy, gloomy, grey. The best novel ever written

Last August, I walked from Haworth to Wycoller. Then came back from Wycoller through Top Witten and Bronte Bridge. Starting 6:30 and arriving back to Haworth 5:00 at tea time. It was an amazing experience. Traveling inside the moor made me feel, the story of Jane Eyre.
