Honestly, this is (for me) one of the most well animated openings with an AMAZING meaning. Man, I miss Naruto

Naruto falls to darkness then his friends push back into the light then he goes down to Sasuke to get him out of that darkness.

1:09 anyone else realise the form of the ocean resembles Tobis mask? His orange swirly one. It represents the fact that he's got a hold of Sasuke now in the anime. Damn this opening is amazing.

Can never get enough of this opening. NICO Touches the Walls did such a fantastic job with "Diver", and the visuals while simple just fit so well. Easily one of the best openings in the franchise, and certainly one of it's best songs.

Beautiful, Naruto was in the water, facing the pain and darkness that shows up in life. He got out thanks to his friends, and he immediately dives in, to save his best friend.

This scene is incredible 1:08, it clearly represents Tobi's mask, implying that he is luring Sasuke into the darkness, 1:16 and the way the shadows cover Sasuke's face at the same time he awakens his mangekyou sharingan, simply cinema

I liked how Sai grabbed Naruto’s ass at 0:50

This shows perfectly what Kakashi said to Obito. Naruto makes you want to follow him and catch him when he stumbles! I wish they would bring the show back!

I will forever love the part where Naruto is spinning in the sky. The animators worked that so well 👏👏

I will never forgive them for leaving this opening for the filler arch, is literary one if the best openings in Naruto, the whole history is condensed here!

The imagery and symbolism in the Naruto openings is always on point. This opening is no exception! Love when the blood runs red with “blood” which is a parallel to the darkness threatening to swallow Naruto’s resolve.
