In 2024, while the Robotechs are away, Optimus Prime and some of the Autobots are on Mars about to conduct a bizarre resurrection experiment, while the Decepticons under G2 Megatron come to steal their technology.
The GI Joe group led by Hawk has found the resting place of two villains, and recovers them, on Wrath planet ship, only to be called by a restored Chip, in the form of Ironhide, to move the planet out of the Sol system!
The Autobots are given a vision and Prime and Megs must join forces with a dozen others to travel to the legendary factory where Unicron was forged, only to find it is where Primus made Cybertron, and also Tornodron and Wrath.
With Wrath being drawn to the Forge, and Megatron growing more angst ridden, they set out into the monstrous alien mega structure to confront their past, where all were originally forged or born eons ago.
