After last week's review of the Logitech G PRO Wheel & Pedals, the discourse surrounding it both in our YouTube comments and all over the internet was- interesting to say the least. Many budding buyers weren't fully convinced by the price of the new hardware, and wanting to stick to the Logitech G ecosystem, turned their attention to the existing G923.

So today, Rich and John put them both head to head in the hope that you, a potential buyer of either product, can make a decision as to which one is for you. Is around 2Nm of torque not enough for you? Perhaps the G PRO would be the better shout. Don't have a ton of cash burning a hole in your pocket? Why not choose the G923? Already have a wheel and just need some pedals? Well the G PRO Pedals by themselves might just tickle your fancy!

Let us know which you'd rather pick up in the comments!

  • If you're on a budget, get the G923. If you're loaded on cash, buy the G PRO. No need for a 24min video explaining lol.
  • The G Pro is actively cooled because it's using an out-runner motor (like in Fanatec's DD1/DD2) and not because its case is plastic.
  • I'm a beginner sim racer, started last year. Since I did't know sim racing was for me, I went for the cheap tride and true wheel, the G923. It has absolutely served me well so far, even though I know It's not good compared to DD. If I continue to enjoy sim racing for another year or so, I'll consider more expensive products to raplace my current wheel, but I will always remember it fondly as the beginning of my hobby. No complaints for the price!
  • Good review! I have the G923 and appreciate the comparison. Lots of good info. Thanks.
  • After dropping a band+ on the g pro and pedals for my first setup.... no regrets. most fun ive had playing video games in years

I love this guys. Keep doing the excellent work guys. Your product reviews are very detailed, unbiased and very honest. Keep up the greatness. šŸ‘šŸ‘šŸ‘

Thank you for covering Logitech Pro Pedal + G29 wheelbase compatibility on PC. Surprised no other simracing YouTuber covered this earlier.
  • @SizzlingStu
4-5 years ago you could frequently pick up the G920 with peddles and shifter for under Ā£130, I actually paid Ā£119 on a Curry's sale for that bundle.
  • @Tiber234
Nice one guys I have no doubts about my purchase but youve also just affirmed my confidence, as a 1st wheel buyer Ive opted for the 923 (expecting it tomorrow)
  • @georgenull5896
Thank you for talking about the mounting points between the two wheels, i already have a rig and dodnt want to buy a new one, so knowing thr two have similair mounting holes was a nice touch. And thanks for not putting the g923 down as its perfectly fine for what it is
  • Great video, really enjoyed that one šŸ˜Š Near the end of the video you say that the pro pedal will become available with g923 on console next year, where do you have this information from? I have been searching the internet and can find nothing to confirm this?
  • @yamyam60
When I bought the G29 three years ago, I did so thinking when it breaks I will upgrade to a DD. It seems I will be stuck with the G29 for quite a while, it just keeps going on strong and I have been using it 2 - 3 hours nearly everyday.
  • @rodmorgan7041
Very well said guys. I use the G29 now and just cannot seem to improve myself. Been trying for 2 years now on F1 2020 so I decided I want a Direct Drive and decided on Fanatec, but here in Australia they are just sold out everywhere. So.....I received my Logitech G Pro Wheel/Pedals today and let's see how things go. Thanks again for your great opinions.

Got my g pro wheel and pedals the other day and I'm loving it
  • @hirezsuicide
I am on PC and got myself the Pro setup. Was looking at Fanatec for ages but it was always unavailable for order in Australia. I did upgrade from the Thrustmaster T300RS and can say that I am glad I did. The difference is massive. The FFB and trueforce are next level and I can hardly wait for new games to support it natively. Many games require you to use the G923 setting.
  • I like the honest review of the products & comparison of the Logitech line. I personally have a G920 & have moved to PC from console gaming within the last year. I am within a sec 1/2 (on average) from most of the aliens on ACC so I'm pretty happy with that. I am excited that Logitech has decided to jump into this market & I'm likely to purchase it down the line. Thanks for the review gents
  • @DMan-ud6bt
Still have a G27 set - actually includes the shifter, as many of the buttons are attached to it. I'd never use a wheel enough to warrant spending more than $400 on the full set.
  • @02bluehawk
Like you said I wish they would have went for the middle ground a logical upgrade from the g92X opposed to a premium option. As some one looking to upgrade from a g920 I'm likely to choose moza
  • How well does the Wheel/pedals Pro marry up with the Next Level wheel stand 2.0? I'm concerned that both wheel and brake cell pressure will have things shifting around.
  • @HiAleks
wow, guys this video is awesome, congrats. I'm Logi G lover!
