In the video, we cover all of the steps and stages of the grammar presentation, along with a lot of useful tips and techniques to get it right. To teach grammar effectively, you want to throw away all of your extra language and really focus on eliciting and CCQing (Concept Check Questions) to move the entire presentation.
To teach grammar well, here are the best practices. It all starts with some solid examples of your grammar point. From there...
1. Get the terminology
2. Elicit the function
3. Move onto the structure
4. Elicit more examples, including negative and question forms
5. CCQ everything!
