  • i think that most people will misinterpret the message. The ā€œbroke friendsā€ are the ones who lack saving money and have little desire to grow or save for the future. For the people who are pursuing education and do not have the money yet, that is completely different as you desire to make more money. You are not broke friend but a growth one.
  • @TH3SWAMP
I was the broke friend that got cut off ,I also was in nursing school when it happened , a bachelors and a masters later I now I got the bigger bag.
  • Dave Ramsey became my "white daddy", 22 years ago! What I mean is that he Financially taught me soo much, that I was Debt Free, twice! I was a Clubber n Nice Car driver most of my life, therefore blowing money I earned often. Dave put me in a better mind set! Anthony Oneal is a product of him! Minorities, we need to change our Cultures Narrative! Spend less, save more, earn more, ignore your Broke Friends n Coworkers. Listen to Dave & Anthony!

  • There's a DIFFERENCE between Friends that are going through the STRUGGLE but you can see their GROWTH,And a MOOCH šŸ§šŸ’²šŸ„‚

Fam you just gave me hope. Here I am 38 thinking I was outcast because I donā€™t have kids, when it could be God telling me not to bring life without building first
  • @davidjohnson2662
Iā€™m sitting here coming up on my 38th birthday in 4 months and Iā€™m broke . I have a job but Iā€™m living paycheck to paycheck borrowing money from family members pay day loans etc but your giving me the game to start building financial literacy thank you so much Iā€™m gonna turn it around!!!

I really love your show young man but I hope people don't forget to look at the fact that they were once broke and needed a friend not based on bag (money) only. I hope we as humans remember to be humble and not forget our humble beginnings. sometimes it seems when people of color make money they become so prideful they start cutting off people that don't have what they have achieved, forgetting they needed someone to show them the ropes of making, saving and investing money when they were BROKE. I am not talking about you, Anthony. Just sharing something I have been seeing on YouTube a lot lately. Everyone wants to sit at the rich table but no one talks about cutting off rich, rude, unethical and prideful people like they talk about cutting the broke and maybe unmotivated people. Again, love your messages just food for thought. There should be limitations to how far we should let people get involved in our lives whether rich or broke based on things like integrity, love and respect. Just saying!
  • The same way an addict can't hang around other addicts when trying to get off drugs, you can't hang with people with the financial habits you're trying to kick. It's not mean, it survival. šŸ¤·šŸ¾ā€ā™€ļø
  • @melvinbarnes6652
I would only cut off a friend if they were negative and became obstacles to me achieving my goals.
  • People donā€™t make enough to feed their household! People are putting groceries on credit cards. I hope your message is empathetic to those facts! Some people donā€™t make a living wage! Itā€™s not as easy as your making it seem! I wish it were!
  • @ashleycavin
I have definitely learned that having an emergency fund is so important because things happen and having a backup plan is so important!
  • @snow40741
I live my life under the radar...my family and friends don't really know that I have out paced them...I am debt free..home paid off...estate set up 2 yrs ago..56 yrs...maxing out savings/investing...looking to change careers to do something I want to do till 62 1/2 or longer and retire...I truly understand what you are teaching here...I have spoken this to family and friends...some are doing okay...but they don't want to discuss their finances and have family/friends who are trying to keep up the Joneses and live the championship/caviar lifestyle on a soda pop budget so you cannot tell them nothing...At the end of the day I am doing what is right for me because I don't want to be a financial burden to others when I retire!
  • @artlover625
This is such a necessary conversation. We need to be talking about having savings, what savings accounts are for, which ones yield the best interest rates. Having early conversations about investing just so everyone is more familiar. It's not about making anyone feel uncomfortable or excluded. It's so we have familiarity and curiosity. That way more friends and family might be open to learning more and starting their own savings and investment accounts. Too many people are intimidated and put off by these conversations. It should be like talking about the new cute neighborhood restaurant. - An option that you might like.
  • Finding your channel has really changed my life in a short amount of time. Iā€™m on a path now to change my behaviors to become debt free and have a better financial future for me and my daughter. I donā€™t want her to have the same money story I have
  • Anthony I am very proud of you and the work you are doing for our community, thank you so very much

Lord!,, that comment ā€œ we send money upā€. Hit home for me. Itā€™s been my life since I was 14 years old( Yes! 14)
  • @larrylovejr82
