And just like that, the 10th installment of Distrust is here........wtf
Distrust as a whole has been a weird and complicated journey for me, but I'm satisfied with where I'm at right now. This song definitely has that extra techno pump to it I feel like... This song also feels more earnest and genuine than "Don't Tell", which I feel like was just a song where I mostly experiment. I'm really happy with how this one turned out, taking 2 days instead of just 1 afternoon or something. Yeah.... I think that's what happens when I put more thought into songs....... they turn out better. MIND BLOWN
Similarly to "Don't Tell", I'm really just trying to refine my music-making style, especially since I'm STILL getting used to FL Studio (it's my main DAW now). I actually still use Online Sequencer for sampling drums though, lol. Until I find the perfect drums on FL, I guess I'll just stick with using Online Sequencer for that teehee
This song has lots of lil' details I slipped in. The synths are taken from my "Map of Stars" song, and one of the chord progressions is taken from "Shining Survivor". (One of my all-time favorite Distrust songs!)
