I managed the shiny Aipom just before last rocket takeover so of course I had to build it with this season's Astonish buff. Shadow shiny Ambipom was a lot of fun to run in GL but definitely hard to get wins with.

I tried my shiny shadow ambipom in the beginning of the season with the re-buff Astonish and I can also safely recommend to not use this pokemon lol. Hyperbeams do hit like a truck though.

I feel like Return would be better on Ambipom, but even so it really needs another charge move that's a little bit cheaper.
