That is one MASSIVE tractor!! My Grandpa used a few Farmall B and M back in the day. He would be amazed with the technology farmers have at their disposal today.
  • ❤ Watching big Steiger pull the massive drill with that music and wide plains, my heart leaps! So beautiful and majestic. Elohim God bless you all!
  • @CaryGuyer
You are truly blessed to have the opportunity to demo that behemoth. Can't wait for the demo of the new Big-Bud.

I’m been watching the Welkers for over almost 10 years. I love the Case but the Big Buds and Big Brute has my heart. lol. The personality Nick Legarms and Dad have are Goals. The God bless at the Ends brings me back for more content.

Oh yes, back in the day, and many an hour, I sat a WD45, pulling 3-16's, packer and 48 inch drill. And how many feet did you say that drill seeds? Ha, Ha, Ha. Yup, Dylan had it right, Times They are a Changin. Absolutely beautiful seeing that outfit in the field.

That tractor is insanely nice.. I was thinking when seeing that one overhead drone shot and thinking how that land was plowed with horses at one time, and then tractors like an old Massey Ferguson, Farmall or Moline planting only several rows at a time. Then a along came beasts like the Big Buds and now this Case IH 715 spreading out 50ft or more... and dragging it through the dirt planting like its nothing. It's amazing how far things have come. We still have our 1958' TO35 Massey Ferguson my Dad bought new for our farm/ ranch, I remember what a beast it was considered back in the day and with all the attachments we could put on it and how much acreage we could take care of with it...hahahaha... Just neat to see how far things have come in what seems like such a short time.

I ran a 2020/21 quad track that was a test bed for the emissions system on that, and got to see a glimpse of these in AZ back when it was still super secret squirrel.

Sure have your dad do the cranking up for the hitch!😅 He's one tough dude. Love your family and thanks for letting us come along 😊❤
  • Technology is indeed awesome. I started farming with a hand cranked B John Deere which had a tricycle front end. When I stopped farming in the early 70s, the 4020 John Deere was the king in my area. I worked for a neighbor for a little while in the 90s and was driving a Steiger Panther. Good work Welkers.

Pretty impressive efficiency. We plant with a 52' drill and a 300 hp tractor and our fuel burn per acre is maybe a bit higher than you were getting there, in roughly the same conditions.
  • @rodneywroten2994
Gosh when you fly the drone around the biggest machine and the Orkestra playing you are proud for our country.
  • @dryroasted5599
Beautiful editing; really flawless! There is a reason Case gives you guys the new stuff.

Thanks for another great video. It was interesting and enjoyable. Wow and wow. Seeing this big new tractor and seed tank and seeder goes across that field is just down right impressive!!!!!!! The drone footage and music was great. Brings tears to my eyes with this big new tractor and it’s seeding equipment doing it’s thing and with the new home in the background makes anyone connected to farming say WOW !!!!!!!!!!! Big equipment doing big acres quickly on the Welker Farm. Has to be a proud moment for Bob and his sons, Nick and Scott, working the land. Just impressive. Case IH has done a great engineering job with this tractor. My compliments to them. Get your winter wheat in the ground gentlemen. Let’s pray for good moisture and excellent wheat production this year!!!!!! About it I guess. Thanks for everything Welkers. You all take care and be safe. Enjoy your time with this beast. Thanks. The Iowa Farm Boy. Steve.

As someone that works for a CaseIH dealer in Kansas I really appreciate your video!
  • The videography is totally over the top - so beautiful I was moved with emotion.
  • @JL-yl8gd
The drone footage really made Montana appealing. Beautiful part of the country you’re living in.
  • @lucascady4992
That wheat field is going to look beautiful next spring looking out the windows of your New House Nick!! Nice planning, God Bless You and Your Family!! 🙏😊
  • Careful guys...If you get used to using BIG RED those BIG BUDS aren't going to hold the esteemed place they hold in your hearts any longer !!! I always liked our Quads better than a wheeled tractor in most applications....except driving down the roads. They could get a little rough at spots on the highways. Perhaps the new suspension systems have helped in that regard. I can't recall the fuel consumption out 375 had on the 40' air drill, but on the chisel plows, it and the 480 we had took around 20 gallons/hour. I remember once I did 900 acres in a 30 hour run drilling soybeans before some weather blew in.....7.5 mph was not a problem as the 375 had plenty of power even when the cart on the 1890 air drill was full...Great vid...brough back some fond memories.....Hope you guys get rain and plenty of sushine up there this year. keep up the hard work, it'll pay off in the long run!

Look ar how tractor development has come. From the days of gas power, open air seat and 2 wheel drive. The amount of draw a tractor does today can't be matched by a dozen 1940's era tractors. This certainly helps todays farmer feed the world.
