I dont know what it is about Gordon but I watch his videos when im going through depressive episodes or having anxiety. Its almost like the passion and aggression about cooking guides my heighten passion and aggressive emotions back to a positive creative space. Thank You Gordon im 26 and i dont have much but youve been helping me stay calm for years. I wish i could do these things.

16:43..get excited. Nothing gets me more excited about food than the August harvest of local grown fresh vegetables. A little bit of prep for soup stocks and pickled root veg for the long Canadian winters.

Now that I've retired from teaching, im devoting my free time to cooking. It's always been a passion, and i enjoy your level of expertise and passion more than I'm able to articulate. Thank you for these online lessons. Thank you for inspiring me!

Gordon Ramsey is not only a great Chef, but a great teacher. You learn so much, so fast. Things you would never know. Then you know it for life, and pass it on…

For someone to be such an ass about people getting things wrong in the kitchen just shows how passionate he is about cooking. For him to teach people FOR FREE on his youtube channel makes him a legend. 100000x better than many other pro chefs. Thanks G.R.

All these recipes are divine My mouth was watering at the Rice pudding with cardamom Clovres vanilla beans and the roasted lime zest on top how wonderful. I trained as a cook at age 18, 50 yrs ago from a french teacher in new york , but not in the city. I've watched many people you mary berry, emerald over the years and i've learned many tricks. We never do learning. I love your tips in this episode. And you should be very proud of your accomplishments. It's nice to see that your teaching your children to cook. It's nice to see your beautiful kitchen and you filming from your beautiful kitchen VS the old episodes of hell's kitchen. I especially like the little Mini tours into the butcher's shop. To show us how to pick the right meets what to look for it's a little bit of history. In education. You have a very nice family. I especially like the Christmas episode when the family was cooking. And you had on the wall 2 different TV's viewing. Live cooking from elsewhere. That makes your show so much different from every other cooking show that i've ever seen. I think you were a little bit perturbed back then. I enjoyed watching the bad boys Bakery episodes in the jail that you helped them with their lives. You have many talents and it's good to see that. You're in a more relaxed environment in your 3:42 home and sharing everything with us out here , and thank you.

Gordon, your attitude and teaching techniques keep me sane when I'm doubting my abilities...thank you

I love the way you teach, Gordon Ramsay. The way you break down the steps and make it easy to replicate. Thank you!

You know your in for a treat when Gordon Ramsay busts out the frying pan.
  • After my first chemo round I lost my sense of taste, then my appetite. Watching Gordon cook reminded me how wonderful & important food was even if I could taste it. Post treatment I still struggle with appetite, but Gordon still encourages me to stick at it.

Wow. This channel has changed my whole culinary life, (which was meager at best) but now I’m like crazy to see the next video and give whatever Gordon’s got cooking a go. Albeit I have to improvise on some ingredients but it is his of technique and skill sharing (ie: rolling of basil, crushing of garlic, & so much more) that really improved my cooking skills. I can’t wait to make dinner now. Thank you from Canada 🇨🇦

@17:09 & 17:22: The pronunciation of chorizo ("thoreetho" and "soreetho") is new to me. Is that the Castillian dialect of spanish in Spain? I've always heard Mexican and Caribbean Spanish just pronounce it "CHO REE ZOH", with a rolled R sometimes if you fancy.
