Unfortunately egg shells take years to breakdown enough for a plant to be able to use. Science based. If you want to help egg shells then grind them into a dusty powder to add to the planting area. MGM (Master Gardener)

re: tree girdling. Never cut all the way around the tree bark; you will kill the tree. I had a flowering crab that wasn't blooming, and I read about cutting 3/4 of the way around about 18" from the ground, then cut 3/4 around the other side about 4" from that. It turned into a masterpiece of blooming beauty.

It is interesting to see ideas that people come up with. Whether the end is positive is also teaching us that not everything is a sure thing, but if you don't give it a go, you're a pessimist, prepared to whinge in stead of giving it a go. I liked the zip ties on the weedeater to cut tough grass. I will give it a go. Lots of great ideas. Add what you are using in certain projects. Like woodchips, root starters, etc. Thanks, great tips and fun to watch.

Ditch the music, add narrative, and not so fast, if you really want people to try these ideas. If not, you are wasting air time. Be more informative, in a way people can duplicate.

Youll need to finely grind the egg shells to a powder in order for those to work. The huge pieces will sit on top the whole season
