USA Baseball's Richard W. "Dick" Case Player of the Year Award winner, Alex Bregman, puts on a hitting display for the ages in Fort Myers, Florida during the Perfect Game National Showcase. Bregman, who is 17 and attends Albuquerque Academy in Albuquerque, New Mexico, also plays club baseball for the Albuquerque Baseball Academy and was named Most Valuable Player at the COPABE Pan American Championships in October, 2010, where Team USA took the Gold Medal. Alex recently appeared at the 2011 Perfect Game All American Classic at Petco Park and was the recipient of the first EVO Shield "SWAG" Award.

Alex Bregman is a standout player at LSU I believe; I do know that as a freshman, he may have been one of the best at what he was doing in the NCAA.
