Husqvarna 3120xp and 395xp Chainsaw milling Australian Redgum Hardwood

Published 2023-03-26
Uploading some old video I found of my first attempt at chainsaw milling.
Here I use both a Husqvarna 3120xp and Husqvarna 395xp to mill some dirty Australian mallee redgum for my friend on his property.
I am using a 48" chainsaw mill, 42" bar, full composition .404 10* ripping chain and an 9ft first cut rail.

  • Thanks for the video mate, keep em coming. Looking at getting into the same saws for cutting slabs
  • Nice one mate, keep it up... i use another set of rails that overhang the ends of log by 300mm to make it easier and fater to start and finish cuts, i just keep tec screwing into the ends of slab through 90° bracket... same saws milling with 3120 and cross cuts with 281 and 288
