Intern, you could make a refueling spacestation with docking ports in low kerbin orbit! Also your apoapsis and periapsis are displayed underneath the navball, once ap is above 70km your in space, during your acend you can cut your engines once your ap reaches about 80km and wait untill you're properly in space to use the rest of your delta v, it's way more efficient that way. Love your videos!
  • Landing on some planet would be cool, maybe even better if you return rocket to Earth.
  • ‘Gravity Well’ and ‘Sphere of Influence’ are both correct terms, however scientists at space agencies tend to use ‘Sphere of Influence’ more.

At 11:57 while you were getting into it around "mars" your trajectory line at one point spirals inward landing on the planet, meaning, you could totally land some kerbals on Mars with that same rocket.

Great job: Up next a Kerbal to the surface of Duna. You can use parachutes on duna, and probably could just put jeb in a drop pod

Quick tip: Doing interplanetary transfers you should wait until at a kerbin-duna transfer window (you can find a diagram of what this looks like online) - if you do chose to first exit kerbin as you did, but can't get a viable burn to duna from that point, simply warp until the two planets intercept towards your AP and then plan a burn - which would save thousands of delta-v as opposed to brute forcing it.
  • Intern is like my favourite youtuber in terms of playing new games. He doesn't show that "uhhhhhhh"ness other people do when trying a new game and he doesn't make any serious gameplay mistakes that others make, and that make me want to slam my head into a passing truck out of severe frustration. So because I can watch him play countless new games without doing the aforementioned things... Intern best boi.
  • Also, use LOTS to reaction wheels or RCS with monopropellant to control your ship without wasting fuel
  • @chrisbatty86
My favorite YouTuber playing my favorite game you’re amazing.
  • Fairings should come off when your nearly in Kerbin orbit
  • Hello Intern, the reason those additional controls parts you added didn't work was because you need to turn RCS control on to use them, you didn't need to disable them, it's on the Nav ball. Also you may want to double check what fuel they use. In KSP1 two types used either Mono propellant or fuel & oxidizer but now that there's more fuels in KSP2 idk what the second type uses.
  • Loved the video @InterndotGif! Can't wait for the next video man! The Antenna is there to transmit information from the Satellite to Mission Control. Also, Day 2 of Asking for you to try and Build a Jet Aircraft from the Military Forces around the World in Kerbal Space Program 2!

love your videos, keep up the great work (btw, nice satellite)

I can’t even imagine how games like this would be like in 20 years. We already have game engines that look pretty much indistinguishable from real life. A space sim like this on one of those super powerful engines would be wild.
  • @dogebro1
If you want the maneuver nodes to be more acurate you should burn at half of the burn time.
  • @saxon215
I saw a really close orbit come up using Ike as a gravity sling but he zoomed to fast past it, so I went and rewatched at half speed. It sounds like intern is drunk and its hilarious

First hour gang! \/ Intern you are a great YouTuber, from silent astroneer to talking on your own channel! You have come a long way with Blitz.
