combination lock plate also it goes to show you that the 900 equinox is not needed you just have to dig everything thats why my legend and my bounty hunter 3300 and my bounty hunter quick draw 2 i will never depart with thwm cause they have found me a many coins and jewelery, i will never buy an expensive detector you do not need all that built in mumbo jumbo, all you have to do is KEEP AN OPEN MIND AND YOU'LL COME AWAY A WINNER THANK YOU FOR BRINING THAT OUT TODAY JUST GOES TO SHOW YA YOUR FRIEND JOHN

I took a cheapo analog bounty hunter out last year for a few days and was actually fun using something so simple.

Not only did you forget your gloves, now you need goggles for exploding pennies. Masterlock dial was that last find, used one on my locker for years at school.

Combination lock number dial lol . With that one you dig it all... Where I went today there was pull tabs bottlecaps cans foil car springs tail pipes lol I came home with 3 bucks in change gobs of pennies. With 1 swing you hit 10 or more targets. lol Plus I had a big old lab messing with me. I'd fill in my hole and the dog would dig it back out HAHAHAHA~!!

For shallow stuff cheapies work just fine..deeper, in water, on wet beach..that's where a more expensive unit comes in handy. Cheapos often do fine job of discriminating iron.
