cytoX made a video like this for 1.16: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rrrzw0PHtz8 If you are interested in this, you should check him out! Here is the data: BLOCK DISTANCES FOR 1.16+: SPRINT: 760 blocks SPRINTJUMP: 1300 blocks SPRINT + HIT: 20000 with no hunger depletion (needs further testing) SPRINTJUMP + HIT: 10k blocks until 1,5 bars have depleted (needs further testing)

You gotta give it a catchy name, like the equivalent of "divine travel" or "e-ray"

based on these results, the best option is - 1- Sprinting + Jumping + Punch (6.95 blocks per second) 2- Sprinting + Jumping (6.78 blocks per second) 3- Sprinting + Punch (5.63 blocks per second) 4- Sprinting (4.85 blocks per second) Of course, if you need to conserve as much hunger as possible over a long period of time, or if you need to travel somewhere quick, disregarding expense of hunger, its gonna be dependent on the exact distances able to be traveled from each one, but, for all general purposes, sprinting and jumping with the entity punch will give you the best ratio for time, speed, and conservation of hunger

That's insane... It's so overpowered, that it's not going to be used to it's fullest capability in runs.

Yo Camman18 mentioned you on his video you're going to be populer!!!
  • Hii i really just subscribe and u are amazing keep going in the life good luck 😉:)

Wait I fully thought sprint jumping was better for food conservation, I swear ninjabrain made a video on it
  • @robder9122
Can you please try Sprinting+Jumping with stairs/falling 1 block?
  • @Movie_Blizzard
You were in Camman18's video! Check it out he has like 3M subs

Wtf this is insane I might start running 1.7 more now cause one big reason I haven't that much is cause of hunger

So, there's this small technique that I've been using myself for a few months already. It has mainly been just with a "just in case" mindset, so I don't really know if it works or not lol There's plenty of techniques when it comes to bridging in Minecraft, but I want to focus on one specific technique: A and S (or S and D) holding. This has been proven to be the fastest way to walk in Minecraft. Without getting into much detail of how that works, let's just say that pressing 1 key adds up an X amount of speed, but when there's 2 of them, they don't merge nor cancel, they add up, making you faster in consequence, and since Minecraft hunger decreases based on time and not distance (whether that is ran or jumped) I was wondering if that could be added to this whole formula to travel an even farther distance, pressing A and W or W and D while sprinting to make it faster. Again, I don't know for sure if this works for sprinting, I just assume it does, and I wouldn't be surprised if it actually did. Hope this helped!
