Spent a few too many sleepless nights working on this one - Do consider sharing this message if you found it useful / interesting! 👊 Slight correction - I've been told the arabic text translates to "Check the next story" and "something so pretty" - I'm blaming Google Translate 😂 UPDATE - Instagram has finally fixed the crashing! They've actually implemented the rule we talk about in this video! To see my last video about crazy inventions: https://youtu.be/Ch4RW28A9A8 To see the most expensive phone unboxing you've ever seen: https://youtu.be/zDG-n8JN_78

This 14 year old kid self taught for 3 years & managed to hack instagram. Me at 32 still undecided on which Spongebob episode I'm gonna watch tonight.
  • I love how Arun isn't taking all of the credit for figuring this out. He's such an honest person and one of my favourite youtubers

9:48 it is sooo cute to see milo the cat as a baby and now seeing him as a grown up makes me think that time goes by too fast
  • Imagine your $1000 smartphone getting crashed by a 14 year old who was bored 💀
  • @dazewithadrian
This guy reacted with a “you are welcome” and is only 14. What a freaking legend.
  • @MaliCookies
The text is in arabic It says “Look at the story after this one”
  • Moral of the story: Its amazing what teenagers can do. Dont underestimate them
  • @SharapovaFan
Damn. This kid basically launched the equivalent of a strategic nuclear weapon on the iOS camp.
  • The fact that a 14 year old claimed to pull this whole thing off is insanely impressive
  • @cyrinyx
I love how Milo is just standing on the table and listening about smth he doesn't understand at all
  • Back in grade 9 I found one of these online, found if you changed a few things, the receivers phone would crash trying to open any app except messages, then they would have to send a message back to the sender to stop it, if you didn’t know who it was that sent it your phone was busted until you deleted all messages
  • Talal kid: 14 years old, can crash your phone through a story Me: 22 years old, can’t open a jar
  • @frogpols
Man's a legend doing this shit at only 14. It's pretty inspirational, though I'm concerned about Instagram/facebook letting this happen in the first place
  • this is why you need back end validation lol. also the fact that the stickers would've been many times the size of the earth is kind of terrifying, i don't normally think about what large numbers really mean and that blew my mind
  • @HELLOhi16007
Just came from his latest video "All Nintendo Console/Switches" and noticed the HUGE audio quality difference. Great work Arun!
  • that kid at 11 years: manages to break people's phones me at 11 years: figuring out how the fridge lights turns on and off 🙄

This is definitely the scariest part about Technology. From annoyances like phone crashes to actual plane crashes, all because of software glitches & loopholes

This is awesome. As of CS background these problems can be said as buffer overflow. In simple terms, it's the overflow of data....when data is given more than it should be.
