Sattu Paratha Recipe:

Ingredients For The Filling:
Roasted Chana flour (Sattu)-1 cup
Carom seeds-┬╜ tsp
Kasuri methi-┬╜ tsp (crushed)
Ginger(finely chopped)-1 tsp
Onion (finely chopped)-3 tbsp
Green chillies(finely chopped)-4
Fresh Coriander leaves (finely chopped)-2 tbsp
Homemade pickle masala-2 tsp
Chaat masala-┬╜ tsp
Salt to taste
Turmeric powder-┬╜ tsp
Water to make a soft dough( VERY IMPORTANT)
For the paratha
Wholewheat Flour, water and a little salt to make a soft dough(exactly what you make for regular rotis)
Accompaniments - Curd, roasted tomato chutney, pickle of choice

Method
-For the filling, in a bowl, add sattu flour along with all the other ingredients.
-Mix till you get a crumbly texture. Now add water and make a suer soft dough out of it.
-Keep aside.
-Now take a small dough ball of the regular aata dough, flatten it out slightly and add the filling in it, seal & roll the paratha(kidnly watch the video to see how exactly this is done)
-On a hot pan, place the paratha & cook till golden brown on both sides using ghee.


For The Tamatar Ki Chutney
Tomatoes(roasted)-4 medium
Garlic (finely chopped)-1 tbsp
Green chilli ( finely chopped)-1 tsp
Fresh coriander leaves-1 tbsp (chopped)
Onion (finely chopped)-1 tbsp
Salt to taste
Mustard oil-1 tsp
Lemon juice-┬╜ tsp

Method
-Take the skin off of the roasted tomatoes, roughly cut them & transfer to a bowl.
-Now mash them with the help of a fork.
-Add all the other ingredients & mix well.
-Serve with sattu paratha.
