Iroh's the best character, not because he's everyone's favorite, but because no one can hate him.

No one ever points out the honor in the fact that Iroh never held any anger towards the Earth Kingdom after they killed his son. It takes a truly wise man to understand that it was the needless violence that killed his son - not the actual Earth Kingdom Soldier
