Metroid Dread - All Bosses on HARD MODE (No Damage)

I love how Samus just shoots Kraid in his mouth despite him roaring right in front of her. It shows that she doesn't view Kraid as a massive threat, and more of an inconvenience.

I like how the Kraid fight is just Samus clapping him both in gameplay and cutscenes.

Fun fact Samus was fighting 2 bosses at once. Kraid, and the urge to not throw up while fighting Kraid

When Samus realized she was fighting kraid, SHE LITERALLY PUT DOWN HER GUN. she was like, "This idiot again. Oh well."

Bro Samus is completely nonchalant during the entire Kraid fight and it's hilarious and amazing. This game is incredible

34:17 Was the most WTF moment of the entire game for me. The way Samus grabbed The E.M.M.I's death needle & effortlessly thwarted it had me in awe & Had me shocked unlike anything in any game I've ever played.

In classic 2D series, Samus becomes Metroid. In Soviet Prime Trilogy, Metroid becomes Samus.

Samus just CASUALLY shot Kraid in the mouth and it was honestly the best stuff ever.

I love they brought the Core X back from fusion. Just a little thing to appreciate

Also, if you get the morph ball bomb early before kraid boss fight, you can bomb left conner at the very start of second phase and will kill him instantly with unique animation.

Anyone else notice at the end when she grabs Raven Beak.. She grabs him in the one weakness in his armor: the scratch she did way back at the start. Shes been told the whole time hes too strong for her but that is the one weak point in his armor and she drives true.

Put it in perspective, the EMMI’s are apparently some of the strongest things in the universe according to the game, yet raven beak recked that one in the beginning and just left it barley functioning as a warning to any intruders (Samus) that’s pretty metal if you ask me

This game had a crazy way of subverting the implied boss format. After defeating kraid I thought to myself "ah, so each region will be a central unit, an emmi, then a boss, ok I get it." but they would turn things around on you all the way through. You would fight variants of chozo mini bosses as well as fusion style core x bosses. Some bosses would be signified by the alien doors, others would jump out and catch you off-guard. This game comes to a total of 16 boss encounters (26 if you count the central units and emmi as bosses). If anything, I wish they kept the experiment Z-57 in dairon so that region would still have a boss, then have a Kraid X fight in the thermal generator room instead.

I cried when the scientist offered himself as a sacrifice. That means he knows how to control both the Metroid AND X parasite!!

Dread has been out for a day and people are already speedrunning/ no damage runs. Crazy
