I've never been able to look at horror (or anything for that matter) the same after TMA. I'm always subconsciously trying to put everything into one of the fears since the system works so well.

I think the interesting thing about the fears is that they always tie back to who or why- i mean: The Eye: am i afraid of being watched or who/why is watching The Dark: am i afraid of the dark or who’s in it it doesn’t work for all of them (like the corruption) but i still think its quite interesting

Quick observation: the distortion is a singular pale yellow door that leads to the insides of a hotel where "the great twisting" was taking place when Gertrude threw Michel at it, the hotel is mentioned when jon kills the distortion

I loved your energy through this, and your jokes make me giggle. I've been thinking about watching this, normally I turn on podcasts when I'm laying in bed. (I seem to like torturing myself with horror with the lights out and trying to sleep.) And this helped a lot in understanding what I was getting into!
