Originally, the difficulty of finding and assembling all 7 Dragon Balls meant that they had plenty of time to disperse the negative power accumulated from each wish, but increasingly advanced technology (such as the Dragon Radar) made finding the artifacts a simple task. Moreover, a seemingly-endless succession of powerful evildeors forced the defenders of Earth to use the Dragon Balls just to repair the damage done to the planet Earth and its people. Consequently, the balls had less and less time to disperse the slowly-immersing negative energy, causing a large amount of it to build up in the magic orbs. When the Dragon Balls could take no more, they soon cracked. Upon attempting to summon the Eternal Dragon Shenron, however, Goku and the others unknowingly released the negative energy in the form of a gigantic dark dragon named Black Smoke Shenron, Shenron's polar opposite before he immediately separated into the seven dreaded Shadow Dragons who each is taking form around one Dragon Ball.

The Evil Dragons, known as Shadow Dragons in the Funimation Dub are a group that act as the overarching antagonistic race in the Dragon Ball anime trilogy and the last main villains of Dragon Ball GT, being the titular main antagonists of the Shadow Dragon Saga. They are seven dragons that resulted from overuse of the Dragon Balls and were created from the negative energy of various wishes made by the characters throughout the Dragon Ball series.

I swear you, Rhyme and Doto pump these XV2 boss fight videos out over and over and yet I still can't help but watch them all. Can literally make a video about watching paint dry and people will watch it because "The Three Idiots" have charisma and humour

This low-key the best raid so far, idk why, just the size of the dragons and the fact that they didn't really do much in the show makes them look really cool while they cook yall

29:28 I didn't notice it before, but Eis also has a massive AoE attack, it seems. Also, the juxtaposition of Seereax slowly descending to Earth peacefully and Doto just crashing down to Earth killed me, lol. These raid videos are always fun, though I hope we don't see it become too repetitive and derivative with massive AoE's and perma-kill mechanics in every raid (at least this one and the Ginyu Force raid don't seem to have had a perma-kill mechanic?)

if I understand it correctly, the dragon balls have the ability to split "nothing" into positive energy and negative energy. Whenever a wish is made, they use the positive energy to make the wish happen and store the negative energy, releasing it slowly and harmlessly. The shadow dragons are what happens when they go over the storage limit, which can only happen if you use them really often.

Doto’s zany antics and general tomfoolery in these raid videos is literally the best

Out of all the brutalities that these modded Raid Bosses have cracked down on you guys, I think that this one in particular not only takes the cake, but it also charbroils it at maximum temperature, and then locks the toasted remnants in an icebox.

Nah dawg you covered shadow dragons pretty well, they all got a anime gimmick behind existing on top of too many wishes corrupting the balls. Also props to Levi these raids are sick!
