Thank you for this video! 👏 I’ve been doing YouTube full time for 2 years now and I’ve definitely had times where I’ve burnt out. It is hard to balance everything and YouTube can take such a hit on your mental health when you feel like certain videos aren’t doing as well as you’d hoped. YouTube studio doesn’t make it easy when it lets you know just how poorly certain videos do 😅 I appreciate this conversation so more people are aware that being a content creator full time is not nearly as glamorous as people think it is

I just started putting more time into YouTube and I became overwhelmed. Then I realized if I’m creating what I love and share with its people then I shouldn’t be so concerned. Learning to enjoy what you create is the tea.

Thank you for being honest and open! This help will help me on my journey too. I just recently started youtube 3 weeks ago. Im a full time healthcare worker and having a demanding career and youtube on the side is not easy. But it’s always not an excuse for something that you like doing and exploring. We’ll see where this journey will take me but one thing for sure, at the end I will definitely learn new skills and learning that I will keep for life. Just subscribed. ❤

as someone who's been on youtube for 10+ years & has fallen off, i appreciate the talk about youtube analytics. youtube studio really brings out some insecurity & stress to me as a youtube creator because the numbers aren't as high as they used to be years ago, it is also partly my fault for losing consistency in 2021 but in 2023 i was trying so hard to try be more consistent and still barely got results. i seriously do think stepping away from youtube studio will help do me wonders & actually allow me to enjoy making videos again like i used to. i don't do it as a full time job, but i still consider it as part time at least. thank you for talking about this
