How To Make Roasted Pork Tenderloin Char Siu

Here's one of my favorite Chinese dishes. I remember my parents picking this up after grocery shopping on the weekend.

Ingredients:
2 whole pork tenderloins
1/4 cup of white sugar
2 tsp of sea salt
1/2 tsp on Chinese 5 spice
1/4 tsp ground white pepper
1/2 tsp sesame oil
1.5 tbsp Chinese cooking wine
1 tbsp light soy sauce
2 tbsp hoisin sauce
1 tbsp sweet soy sauce
1/4 tsp of red food coloring (optional)

Note: Don't throw away the left over marinade. strain and add agave syrup or honey.

    Are you not basting at the very end of cooking there, with raw pork juices from the marinade bag?
