Body off frame, rotisserie restored. Rust free original metal. Performance built motor and a new air conditioning system. It's a real XL which is the top of the line trim level.

EXTERIOR: The body was stripped down to a bare shell. There was literally nothing else that could have been removed. It was then put on a rotisserie and hydro blasted in and out to bare metal. We have pictures of the process. Rust free original metal. It was painted a smooth and glossy Wimbledon white. All the original stainless trim was straightened and polished. Bumpers were rechromed. New weatherstrips and seals. Windshield was replaced. It is rolling on 17 inch wheels and Firehawk tires.

INTERIOR: The interior was completely gutted and stripped to a bare metal cabin. The dash was even removed from the car. It was epoxy primered, new seam sealer and lined with sound deadener. The carpet and matching mats were installed. Seatbelts in front. The seats were rebuilt with new cushions and a NOS upholstery. The original door panels and center console were disassembled and restored. The dash area has excellent trim, lenses, heater controls etc. All new bulbs, interior lights work. A mini tachometer was installed under the dash. Headliner was replaced.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: The 390 was given a performance rebuild making 425 hp! It's balanced, has chamfered crank, forged aluminum rods and pistons. Aluminum heads with roller rockers. On top is an aluminum intake, dual feed Holley carb, MSD ignition and finned Cobra valve covers. It also has a set of coated headers. New air conditioning system was installed. It also has power steering and chrome power brakes. Upgraded aluminum radiator with dual electric fans, original overflow tank. It's proper and complete- washer bag is hooked up, it has both horns, battery is properly secured. The engine bay was stripped to bare metal and painted slick.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Stripped to bare metal. New seam sealer, epoxy primed and painted white. 5th matching wheel and new tire for a spare and a functional jack. New weatherstrip and liner kit including side panels.

UNDERSIDE: The frame was actually put on a rotisserie, stripped to bare metal and painted. The underbody of the car was stripped to bare metal, it has no rust or patches. Painted Wimbledon gloss white. New body bushings, the front end suspension and steering was completely rebuilt. New ball joints, bushings, springs, shocks etc. The brake system was completely rebuilt- new wheel cylinders, brake lines, e-brake assembly is hooked up. Extra capacity Moroso oil pan, high torque starter. Heavy Duty C6 automatic trans. New balanced aluminum drive shaft. Rebuilt rear end with Yukon limited slip 3.00 gears.

The photo albums really blew me away. The best stripped down body I've ever seen. It was taken down as far as a car can be taken down. Someone's extensive time spent restoring this car is now your benefit. Great cruiser- the motor sounds tough (is tough), a/c, power steering and brakes make it easy.

I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle. Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail. **These cars are displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car make an appointment with a salesman to see that car. Without an appointment there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you buy a car, your admission will be refunded and you will be given a 1 year membership.

Bring it to me. Had a 63 once and I loved it. Missed the 64 model year. This one has everything I'd want.

You are one very busy man Jay... Great presentation of the all your cars...
  • I'm basically a Chevy man, but this Galaxy is a very good example of what a real professional restoration is, the body is very nice, the interior is probably the best part of the car, the motor sounds like it's really been put together right, sounds like a pro-stock Jay must have a global network.
  • Sounds like a solid lifter cam!!! That's a real song to listen to!!!!
  • A really nice Ford, wouldn't change a thing. I love the look of the 17 inch mags. Too many people go over-board with super low profile tires which often don't look good on cars from the 60's.
  • Just a very good/nice driving car I'm sure. The additional air condition will allow this car to sell well!
  • The car is absolutely stellar!!! The wheels would have to go though . Car is delux though .
