  • 7:47 imagine walking in Paris and you come across a ant colony and all of sudden the entire colony including the queen just says "BONJOUR"
  • The level of coordination that most ants have is honestly very frightening and interesting at the same time the only other insect that I know that has this level of coordination is robber flies
  • Could you imagine if ants evolved intelligent hiveminds. An ant colony who share a hive mind with the intellect of a human. That would be a sick movie
  • I remember watching a documentary about ants when I was a kid, and in that show they talked about ants as being just as intelligent as humans, they have cities, roads, workers, doctors and of course soldiers but damn undertaker's too haha that's fuckin awesome, I'm under the impression now that ants are more intelligent because they know the importance of social distancing and medicine

Shit, Dude... you answered a question I have been thinking about for weeks. There was a large wasps nest in a tree in my yard. Saw ants crawling in and out of it one day. Thought the ants and wasps had some symbiotic relationship. A few days later all activity in the nest stopped. Waited a few more days and took the nest down...looked inside...no one home. Thanks for giving mr the answer. Subscribed.

Those ants from “a bugs life” were just concealing their power amongst those grass hoppers so that no one will get suspicious of the TRUE HORROR that they are capable of doing
  • The Texas Blind Snake (R. dulcis) eats ants, ant larvae, and ant pupae, even Fire Ants. I've actually removed the tops of Fire Ant mounds and found Texas Blind Snakes inside the tunnels. Apparently, the ants can't seem to do a thing about it... Never found a dead snake before, or an eaten one.
