  • I'm black/African American and I'm sick of afrocentrism as well. I want to learn more about West/Central African history, but instead all these bigots argue over Egypt. It's annoying

Bro thank you so much I’m Ethiopian and I’m sick and tired of Afrocentrist telling me I’m from “Israelite” when my tribe isn’t even god damn Semitic and not to mention I’m BLACK AND PROUD!!!!!!!!

I am Native American, I remember going to a school and I had people calling me $5 Indian or fake Indian because real Indians were black. I grew up on the rez. I went to pow wows know my culture well. I threw those arguments out there. They responded that it was white washed. That the real culture was erased and forgotten. I have a few friends who still believe I'm a fake Indian. We respectfully agree to disagree. He's so enrooted with the belief that the original natives were black. It can definitely wear on someone go be constantly seen as a fake Indian. To hear that my culture is fake and white washed. But alas I'm not a hateful person. I won't lie it did catch me off guard at first! But not much can be said. No matter what argument I put forth, my friends always fall back on white washed. So as I said we've agreed to disagree.

Omg, thank you sooo much for this! I'm a black woman and I was trying to connect more with the online black community. And I thought that I was the crazy one, but this video shows that how I felt was justified. A lot of the online afrocentrists are very hateful towards non-black people, and say a lot of stuff that i don't think is factual. It's a really depressing community to be in, filled with anger and hatred and a feeling of being totally hard done by. I've withdrawn from the afrocentrist/hotep community. It's TOXIC. I think I used to feel like black people could never be wrong, that we couldn't be hateful because we've been hurt so much throughout history. But that's not true. There are a lot of black people online who are really bitter.

No, you don't talk like a white man. You talk like a MAN plain and simple. Keep up the good work and keep fighting hate with facts and knowledge.
  • @omaraashour1707
Thank you, I am Egyptian and I'm so tired of arguing with these people.

Best video ever...I am a black girl of Bermudian heritage... Yes Afrocentric is toxic, and spreads like wild fire among the black communities, theu act is if they are gods gift to the world...Ready to judge and belittle anyone who begs to differ from their way of thinking.. I argue back at them here on many you tube comments, but it seems to fall on deaf ears.... They have nothing but loathing in their mind sets , and only they can change. Its a futile attempt at times.

Respect to this. I needed to see this because I have just recently came accross the afrocentricts that are claiming my Greek culture. At first it was funny but its not funny anymore. This video made me feel better about it today.
  • @absolutelamb262
As a white man, thank you for this. I think Afrocentric and Eurocentric mindsets are one of the things holding up progress. Much love and respect!
  • @rosyorose1061
''Its ok to hate the racists.....but don't hate the race''.....I love it!!!....My utter respect to you :-) I am subscribed :-)))
  • @kromkindkaroo
As an African, I am so happy when I hear that the Diaspora based Afrocentricism and Pseudo History is called out.
  • @greatsongz1211
Thank you!!! I was so discouraged with the Afrocentric YouTube channels spreading hatred of everybody from non-black people to LGBTQIA+. It’s important for us as African Americans to know our actual history and enjoy life rather than hating on anybody deemed other. Love and light 🙏🏾
  • @Justaperson354
I was told that my Italian culture was fake and actually black culture so I was appropriating...I was born and grew up in Italy yet it's somehow a persons culture that has never stepped foot in the damn country.
  • @mikehungcho
As a Mexican with native Americans heritage is very disgusting what this people doing. Claiming Native American but have no knowledge of the culture or languages. They see the wide nose and go crazy. 😢
  • I loved this video. Afrocentrics are trying to say that my people, ethnic Assyrians were black. It's enraging. You just earned a subscriber. Finally! Someone is speaking out against this junk.
  • @RemaiFaint
As a "white" ( I'm mostly Norwegian, European and Native American) person I want to thank you. I have to work in a very black part of my City and I constantly have to listen to open racism and many of the things you're talking about just because of my skin color and I can't retort or retaliate back because anything I say will be taken as racist. The few things I have said have always resulted in my black co-workers saying that they don't hate white people when it's very clear they are against them and it seems that they put white people as a blanket term for anyone that's fair-skinned. I have mixed ancestry and I grew up around other races especially since I used to live in Washington State were there was a predominant population of Native Americans. It's annoying to have to hear all of these afrocentrists make s*** up and then I can't say anything back. So I just want to thank you for actually bringing this crap up
  • Finally a proper American of African descent comfortable in his skin and celebrating all aspects that makes him who he is. It can be done!
  • @davidb5205
This is such a breath of fresh air! I was worried that the Afrocentric plague took over black history YouTube channels. From the Hebrew Israelites to the Hoteps to the Van Sertima acolytes, I just can't keep up. It's embarrassing frankly. None of this is necessary when there is plenty of history to learn about in West and Central Africa! I even read a comment the other day from someone claiming Chinese and Japanese culture. UGH.
  • @omarahmed-py9ii
Afrocentric: 2022: Egyptians were black 2200: Appollo 11 team were black
  • @silvo9460
People tell me I’m not a true Egyptian and that true Egyptians were sub Saharan black
