Lyrics:

Hey, my love
I came to you with best intentions
You laid down and gave to me
Just what I'm seeking
Love, you drive me to distraction

Hey my love do you believe
That we might last a thousand years
Or more if not for this, our flesh and blood
It ties you and me right up
Tie me down

Celebrate we will
Because life is short but sweet for certain
We're climbing two by two
To be sure these days continue
These things we cannot change

Hey, my love, you came to me
Like wine comes to this mouth
Grown tired of water all the time
You quench my heart
And you quench my mind

Celebrate we will
Because life is short but sweet for certain
We're climbing two by two
To be sure these days continue
The things we cannot

Celebrate, you and me
Climbing two by two
To be sure these days continue
These things we cannot change

Oh, my love I came to you
With best intentions
You laid down and gave to me
Just what I'm seeking

Celebrate we will
Because life is short
But sweet for certain
We're climbing two by two
To be sure these days continue
Things we cannot change...
Things we cannot change...

My God what is this? They are not from this planet. Bass, chords, theme, drums... One of the best performances ever! 👏👏👏

I was at this concert, about 50 feet from the stage, it was incredible, a show for the ages.

The best 18 minutes of music I’ve heard in my life.

The band may be named after Dave Matthews, but there is absolutely no trace of ego in which he goes about letting every single member of the group have their own individual moment to shine. Pure class in every position shining through, and complete trust that everyone is there for one purpose only, to elevate the music to a new level in any way possible. Brilliant band. The song sounds as fresh as the first time I heard it 20 years ago. I still get shivers from the intro...
  • Imo, this is one of the best live performances that they have released on Blu Ray/DVD. I love you DMB and congratulations for being an inductee into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame !!!

This not having 10 million plus is a shock.. this is music. This moves the soul and talks to it. Dave comes through arizona most years. I’m going this year… period. I love you Dave!!

One great, gentlemanly thing DMB does is, that all other members (except drummer who’s kind stuck where he us! 🥁💜) ALL turn and face the musician who is playing a solo. I don’t remember ever seeing that done with any other band, even over my 67 years of inhaling every type of music I could find. THAT IS REAL CLASS AND RESPECT! (I know I’ve said this before, but now that my brother has Gone Hone, Carter IS the best drummer in the world! 😘👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🕊✝️💜🌹

Best live performance I’ve seen in almost 50 years of observing some of the greatest artists on the planet.

Answer is, you're absolutely right. They are out of this world

Man so there I was, just graduated high school back in May. Decided to not go to college and move to NYC. Exploring the city with my roommate who happened to be a crazy DMB fan, me not so much at the time. Then by chance, as we were walking through Central Park on a fall evening, we hear music in the background. Walking towards the music, my roommate recognizes Dave's voice. We walk further and there we were, the Central Park concert. Freaking nuts. 20 years on, I still listen to this concert and needless to say, I've been a DMB fan ever since.

For someone from NYC, I get chills EVERY TIME Dave sings 'dance all the way across the greatest city in the netherworld' and then the stage lights up and the baritone sax comes in. Perfection!

Where on this planet have I been? I was introduced to this awe inspiring legendary band as a patient in an operating room two days ago. by my surgeon who is a big fan. I have chills listening to this beautiful music and will now enjoy for the rest of time. Looking at future concert dates since I missed Wilmington and Charleston.
  • Stumbled upon this by mistake and I have if you think i have replayed it 5 times on a row you are absolutely right!
  • The band's ability to add flare to these improvised solos by adding their own improvisation to the background music is master class. Carter's runs during the keyboard solo is mind blowing

Im Mexican… it’s 2024. You know why I’m watching this? My best friend is from Texas :)
  • @rubenrojas4312
The certainty that music is part of our being... when you not only hear it but feel it...
  • When you and your band lock into a grove, you don't spoil it. You RIDE it, DRIVE it, ENJOY it. Let the players have their play for a few. Epic concert! Always willing to see DMB.
  • @cameronlund1674
I consider this one of the best live performances by any band ever
