  • Fun fact: when Peter Pan (the play) was first staged, Tinker Bell was a special effect to make it look like a little ball of light was flying around. As a joke, they listed a non-existent actress, Jenny Wren, as β€œplaying” the role. But the Inspector of Taxes didn’t know that, and launched an investigation into β€œJenny Wren”’s tax evasion.

I wish the Disney Fairies Franchise would make a return one day. It was so much fun and such an interesting concept for Tinkerbell’s origins. Her fairies friends in the franchise were iconic too.

The Disney animated version, hands down. We get to see Tinkerbell and her home life aside of being Peter Pan's sidekick.🧚

β€œYou know you’ve gotten old when Captain Hook becomes the movie’s eye-candy” πŸ˜‚

2003’s version of Tinker Bell really stands out for me because of how much personality the actress adds to the character through her facial expressions and movements. All of her energetic expressions are also a great contrast to Wendy, who is definitely more calm and collected.

instead of disney making remakes why dont they make more fairy franchise movies? i'd love to see a conclusion at least! i loved the movie series so much!!!
  • OUAT’s Tinkerbell’s clothes were the absolute best. I would have liked to see more of her interacting with other Neverland characters. I would have liked more of her in general!

My nickname at school growing up was Tinker Bell because I was tiny, blonde, and I was known to have a short temper. I was also a creative kid, and I drew fairies quite a lot. Tinker Bell has a special place in my heart because of that πŸ§šπŸ»πŸ””βœ¨
  • It’s honestly scary how far Tinkerbell went to get rid of Wendy away from Peter. She’s like the jealous girl who’s been friend zoned by her crush and her motto is, β€œIf I can’t have him, no one can.”
  • I grew up with Tinker Bell movies, and this may be nostalgia speaking but I think that they did a lot for Tinker Bell’s character, more than any other adaptation (besides the original movie, who gave her the iconic appearance she has today). I mean, that is by far the adaptation that gives her the most development, character, and agency.

the reason disney picked tinkerbell to be their mascot for the early disney world advertisements was because she was popular enough to be recognizable, but not so popular that if disney world failed, the company's whole branding would have to be redone
  • The Disney fairies franchise was literally my childhood, so yes, I would be very interested in seeing a video about it.
  • @jesterfairy3845
I would kill for a ModernGurlz Disney Fairies video. Those movies were my entire childhood.

Disney animated (pixie hallow) tinkerbell is my favorite. We see how she is on her own.
  • @wintersnow998
I was really into the Disney fairies franchise as a kid and teen despite the fact that I actually disliked Peter Pan ( as in the character, though the movie wasn't exactly my favorite either). I was so upset when they shut down the Pixie Hollow website. The Tinkerbell movies will always be my favorite depiction of the character.
  • @DarlEnchanted
The fact you considered Tink from World of Winx unique enough to place her in a ranking was really nice πŸ’œ
And as a Disney Fairies fan I'd definitely love to see a video about them πŸ§šβ€β™€
  • I was about 14 in 2003, and I had the HUGEST crush on the Peter in Peter Pan 2003. It prob ranks 3rd in my Peter Pan movie favorites but he was so cute when I was a kid.

I love Tinkerbell from OUAT, from all live actions she's the most identical to the cartoon, even her personality and story are so accurate, despite we never knowing her "true" origin story from the book or cartoon, the one the producers chose is very good.
  • Tinkerbell is such an interesting character, I think the dichotomy between her and Wendy has developed into a classic Jackie, Marilyn-esque, right up to Peter being unhappy with both options
