Award-winning hotelier Alex Polizzi continues her quest to turn the UK's hotels of horror into relaxing retreats. • The latest reviews seem to imply they are doing really well now. I am so pleased for them.
  • I'm glad the owners came through. A look at their website shows so many changes. It's beautiful!

This first aired in June 2019....start of 2020 covid hit... a lot of places closed down. It's so lovely to see that they're still running the place and very successfully too. Very high ratings 4.8 out of 5 stars. She was nervous here understandably so. Well done!

WOW" what a Outstanding B&B, When i am next at Blackpool in 2024 this will hopefully be the place for us, ! Well done .💯👌👍
  • For a B&B this is an excellent little establishment, especially with the standard of some around.

“I’m sure she’s astonished at her inability to fix this.” Alex always makes spot on observations.
  • I believe that the best "Boss" is a person whois NOT "bossy"! One gets more out of staff or pupils by being warm, encouraging and empathic. 💖
  • @Robhalifax
They do the basics well. Cleanliness and service seems to be guaranteed. Its just about marketing.
  • @Grappapappa
I am Finnish and really glad to see others taking on Nordic walking.

Don’t usually comment, but had to jump in. Sooo many negative comments. Wow. Nobody seems to use google. This place is doing well folks. Yes. Same owners. This episode is old. They have made it, even through Covid. I would call that a Win. I would also call it growing and learning. Arm chair marketers and hoteliers! 🤯🤣

I love Alex Polizzi's natural ability to work with Hoteliers to bring them back from the red. She is amazing at her career! Love watching her from America.

Her poor parents! They should be taking it easy not being bissed about by their stressed out daughter
  • @lislelisle5453
If my kids still needed me in my old age i would be fully happy to help them.
  • Feature wallpaper pattern is good, just needed to be another color. Cross promotion would help too. Offering guest info on the theater and walking activities can create synergy establishing stronger relationships.

One of the nicest makeovers I've seen on this show. I love the signage and carpeting.
  • @auntylinda7640
Ooh, that 'who's the boss ' thing at the end. Worrying😢
  • @hunkhk
Alex is so amazing love her to bits - she takes no prisoners and always is on point

She should do well in such an attractive tourist area. But, as you have mentioned, Alex, marketing is key to bringing in prospective clients. It is a blessing to have such supportive parents in the mix. Once again, great job Alex. The seaside is always a focal point.
