The charity part became too complicated, but I do hope you will use the money saved with the free album and put a few dollars toward a good charity.

If you're a fan of this singer, go make the charitable donation of $10 or more and  GET THIS ALBUM.  Seriously, it's magical.  If you like the raw and true emotion you've come to love in her music, this will make your day.  And you'll be helping a worthwhile cause.

I have a lot of respect of people who help good causes. There are so many out there and so many ways to help, and so, so many who, every day give in some way that  Charity and Giving are perhaps the real economy.

I discovered this wonderful singer (Coffescup) purely by accident while looking for a version of Woody Guthrie's "This Land is Your Land" which could demonstrate the concept of emotional tone to my international university students as serve as a contrast to the rowdier, folksy versions of this song more frequently heard. Imagine my horror then, when I returned recently to Youtube find this song AND IT HAD BEEN TAKEN DOWN!!!!! I was devastated!!! PLEASE POST IT AGAIN!!! I must have it! I love it so much!!!! I am heartbroken. PLEASE!!!! I need to know how I can get a recording of your rendition of Guthrie's iconic song.......My email at the University of Central Arkansas is [email protected]. THANK YOU FOR SHARING YOUR BEAUTIFUL VOICE

lovely haunting music. I shall definitely donate and get the album. I am a little curious about the charity. The committee to protect journalists. Freedom to report the truth is obviously important. But honestly, what good does it do to know the truth when you can't do anything about it. It all just makes me feel bad. Look at the poor Syrians, bombs, bullets, poison gas, no one helps. But even if someone did help, help who? Who is the goodie and who is the baddie exactly? Can the journalists shed any light? Not really, someone holds up a child's severed arm and says 'look what they did!' while the other side says the same thing holding up the other arm. Maybe they butcher innocents especially to parade before the cameras. In a way the media can fuel the violence. There is an excellent book by susan sontag that deals with this. But you are right, the alternative is worse to ignore or only hear the lies is a terrible thing, like what happened to the Cambodians in the 70s. People should at least try to find out the truth, and share it with the world, so at least we can look back and shake our heads sadly.
