First there is not one scripture in God's Word says we shouldn't be cremated.....Anyone who thinks God cannot bring back Someone who has been cremated, Seriously doubts the power of the Almighty God who created the heavens and the earth.... who knew you before you were in your mothers womb !!!!
  • DO YOU NOT KNOW WHO GOD IS, OUR FATHER KNOWS WHERE EVERY PIECE OF ASH HAS FLOWN AWAY. I'VE ALWAYS FELT THAT GOD CAN DO ANYTHING. AND, I STILL FEEL THAT WAY., I AM SO SURE, THAT GOD HAS GOT THIS, UNDER CONTROL..( BLESS YOU ALL)
  • There are christians who have been burned at the stake for serving God. There have been many burned in house fires , car fires, etc. I cannot and refuse to believe that God would pass over someone who is cremated.
  • Cremation has nothing to do with god. Because what matter is you soul .what matters is having are relationship with him❤❤❤

All things are possible with God.. When our body dies our spirit returns to God. We cannot conceive the enormity of God's spiritual power to draw all the elements together in the resurrection... It's beyond our understanding. I leave it to Him. You're so right about burial with Christian dignity and belief in the resurrection. What matters now is our relationship with God and our longing to be with Him. Dying is only a transition. Heaven's door is ever open to the faithful.. God bless. 🙏❤️😊

Should it matter If we are going to be with God It shouldn't matter Our spirit and souls are what's matter. The bodies means nothing without it

1 Corinthians 15:52 “In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.” King James Version (KJV)

Amen cremation will not affect where we go for eternity with God all thing's are possible
  • We shall all receive new bodies when the kingdom comes, also the body is an empty vessel without the soul.

Whether your body is buried in the earth or cremated we will all stand before our Creator the Lord Jesus Christ to be judged. The Holy Scriptures states that “It is appointed once unto man to die than after that the judgment.”

Out of all the trips we have taken this departure is the most important because of the precious Hope and faith.
  • As Christians, we don’t only believe in the immortality of the soul—we believe in the resurrection of the body. Burial is a Christian act, and it communicates the belief that what’s sown in weakness will one day be raised in power (1 Cor. 15:42–43). Burying the body is like sowing a seed. Both go into the ground, and in both cases, what comes out of the ground is biologically continuous. Whether in farming or funerals, burial isn’t a final act but an opening act. It’s not just an end; it’s a beginning. This is the hope we have as saints in Christ. And this is an opportunity we need to take advantage of amid a paganizing culture. In Christian burial, we’re not simply disposing of a corpse; we’re planting a seed. Just as we sow in hope of the harvest, we bury in hope of the resurrection. Let’s reclaim Christian burial. And let’s say with our actions as well as our words, “We believe in the resurrection of the body.”
  • I have never wanted to be cremated. So I did a little research and found out that the local funeral home has a burial that is done within a day. It’s cheaper because you do not receive any of the prep work done on a body to be presented for viewing. So no embalming. It’s done similar to what the Jews do. You pass and are put in the ground quickly. I’ve decided I will do that. It’s what I’m most comfortable with. I wish I could buried at a Jewish place. My mother is Jewish. But she wants to be cremated. I wish I could talk her into doing what I’m doing, it’s a few thousand dollars cheaper. So just know you have options even at a traditional funeral home & grave site. Go through all those options with someone before it’s time if you can. And if you must make that decision for a loved one explore all your options.

The Bible does not give any specific teaching about cremation. There are occurrences in the Old Testament of people being burned to death (1 Kings 16:18; 2 Kings 21:6) and of human bones being burned (2 Kings 23:16-20), but these are not examples of cremation. It is interesting to note that in 2 Kings 23:16-20, burning human bones on an altar desecrated the altar. At the same time, the Old Testament law nowhere commands that a deceased human body not be burned, nor does it attach any curse or judgment on someone who is cremated. Cremation was practiced in biblical times, but it was not commonly practiced by the Israelites or by New Testament believers. In the cultures of Bible times, burial in a tomb, cave, or in the ground was the common way to dispose of a human body (Genesis 23:19; 35:19; 2 Chronicles 16:14; Matthew 27:60-66). While burial was the common practice, the Bible nowhere commands burial as the only allowed method of disposing of a body. Is cremation something a Christian can consider? Again, there is no explicit scriptural command against cremation. Some believers object to the practice of cremation on the basis it does not recognize that one day God will resurrect our bodies and re-unite them with our soul/spirit (1 Corinthians 15:35-58; 1 Thessalonians 4:16). However, the fact that a body has been cremated does not make it any more difficult for God to resurrect that body. The bodies of Christians who died a thousand years ago have, by now, completely turned into dust. This will in no way prevent God from being able to resurrect their bodies. He created them in the first place; He will have no difficulty re-creating them. Cremation does nothing but "expedite" the process of turning a body into dust. God is equally able to raise a person's remains that have been cremated as He is the remains of a person who was not cremated. The question of burial or cremation is within the realm of Christian freedom. A person or a family considering this issue should pray for wisdom (James 1:5) and follow the conviction that results.
  • The Bible depicts the physical body as part of God's good creation as well as something God will restore in the final resurrection.
