Theo Von, Brendan Schaub, Whitney Cummings, Jim Cornette, were all allegedly defrauded by Kast Media and Colin Thomson. How did this happen and how can we prevent it in the future? Here's my investigation.

This video is an opinion and in no way should be construed as statements of fact. Scams, bad business opportunities, and fake gurus are subjective terms that mean different things to different people. I think someone who promises $100K/month for an upfront fee of $2K is a scam. Others would call it the "opportunity of a lifetime."

🚨I’ve seen people concerned for me over the “I make 4 figures in the $10,000,000 studio” comment and to be CLEAR that was a joke! I was just surprised by how much podcasts make and wrote that in as a throwaway line. I think most ppl know how absurd the idea is that I could have 2 employees, and a $10,000,000 studio if the channel actually made a few thousand bucks a year, however I wanted to clarify so no one worries about me.🥺 If I ever need money I’ll just sell the flying lambo. We’re good. 🫡

As soon as this dude said "I wanted to talk to you, I appreciate the work you do." I knew he was guilty as hell lmao

Every scammer appreciates your journalistic integrity until you call THEM out 😂

Coffee: "so what happened to the $4million?" Collin: "you see I used to be a musician...."
  • @bijanka
"C-C-Could you please not interrupt me while I am lying?" lol.

I just love how all these scammers begin their interview with how much they love your journalist integrity and professionalism!

Glad that Theo named him. We need to know these people's names and faces.
  • Never trust someone who uses a large volume of big words to answer a simple question. People who speak to fatigue your brain should be avoided.

The saddest part is always when the scammers themselves say to Coffeezilla ”I appreciate the work that you do in exposing scammers.” As if they genuinely believe that they’re not one of those people. Greed really does blind a person’s morals.

Coffee: "So you are being accused of stealing 4 mil, what's your side of the story" Kast guy : "It all started when I was born .... "
  • This Colin guy has a future in politics. Just answered a simple question with paragraphs of jiberish
  • @swasloids
You know someone is guilty when they say "they respect his work"

The SECOND Collin started talking to Coffee it was obvious that the whole thing was a scam. He was regurgitating a sales pitch instead of answering questions. "Did you scam people?" "What we sell is independence."

I cant believe an astute businessman like Brendan Schaub could get into this mess

As soon as I hear the accused say" I love the work you do " about Coffee, I usually lose hope

I’m a restaurant worker and I learned quickly that I need to shake someone down after two missed checks.

the guy never intended to run a long-term podcast network; he was trying to hold it together long enough to get acquired, get a big payday, and walk away. That's the giant scam; a lot of start-ups never intend to stay in business; they hold it together long enough to go public via an IPO, get the massive payday, and then watch the company burn to the ground or be bought out by a more prominent firm

Colin Thomson spoke from 3:35 to 4:43 and didn't say a single thing. Takes a special type of narcissist to pull that off 🤣
  • @DrBeauHightower
I refuse to believe someone would be able to trick Brendan Schaub

Damn that dude is scary, because he was able to come off so genuine. He was very good at mimicking the presentation of someone with good intentions, that just got in over their head You can tell he isnt actually this person however. Because A) his priority in explaining what went wrong is to first establish his innocence. Its like when someone calls 911 and their first priority isnt saving the person injured, but rather establishing they had nothing to do with it. B) he has no patience. After being pressed about just explaining where the money went rather then giving an alibi, he gets upset. A genuine person who made a huge mistake still understands and recognizes the harm their actions caused. You dont get offended by it. Started out going "man maybe theo was wrong about who this guy actually is" but very quickly changed, "oh there he is. Theres the bad guy. He was just hiding in there. Got it".
