As long as humans have explored space, we've been fascinated with finding life on Mars. This barren red rock might seem like quite the dead end for finding even traces anything living, but we still keep going back. The most recent expedition to Mars was 2020's Perseverance mission which completely changed our understanding on the matter.

Thank you for providing the information and the video on Mars exploration. I appreciate the opportunity to learn more about this fascinating subject. Your resources will be invaluable in deepening my understanding of the ongoing efforts and discoveries related to Mars.

The names of the rovers keep getting longer. I propose the next rover be named Bob. 😂

cause we can't be the only ones out here just can't!!!!
  • The moons Europa & Enceladus may have life - Key ingrediant: liquid water underneath the ice. Plus internal heating through gravitational attraction between planets & moons.

I read that there is a subset of humanity like us that don't need to breathe oxygen like we do
  • 0:08 In my lifetime (52-years-old back in March) no serious astronomer, astrophysicist, or astrobiologist thought there were canals or cities or any other engineered structure designed and built by an intelligent species living on Mars. Hell, by the 50s, astronomers studying the planet with telescopes had a pretty good idea there was certainly no technological civilization on Mars. Now, as to the possibility of some kind of simple life on Mars, that was a different story. Until the Viking missions in the mid-70s, they felt like there was certainly more than a non-zero chance of some simple forms of life being present, possibly subsurface, which could be detected with the instruments on the lander.
  • Just like every other planet in our solar system Mars is dead we have found everything we're going to find but we keep wasting money
  • These amazing men and women are the ones who will advance humanity forward into being a multi plant species. It certainly won't be Trump.

I'd rather give money to NASA than to Israel

NASA hasn’t actually tried to find life on Mars. They probably would have found life by now if they wanted to.

Great video ! But honestly, there isn’t much there and almost impossible for humans to live sustainably in the barren planet. If we could live on Mars, we should first try to emulate that is the Sahara and Siberia etc. At this point it is just a colossal waste of taxpayers money !
