I’m running OCLP on two legacy Macs. I just updated my 2011 MBP 13” and it was perfectly smooth. You and the OC developers are doing a huge service for the world of users still using older Macs everyday. And, yes - this is exciting… as a developer of much smaller projects I was always excited to see things work as designed. I can’t even imagine the scope of this project, the research, coding, and testing, required. To see it fall into place as designed is super exciting. Truly an awesome project, keeping the Home Brew Spirit alive. THANK YOU!!!

I'm running Monterey on a 2010 3.46 12 core Mac Pro. I couldn't be happier to extend the life of this machine with my Avid Pro Tools Ultimate system. Everything is working for me! Thank you for all that you do
  • @adenovirus.
The effort you go to is highly appreciated. I wouldn’t have done this to my Mac if it wasn’t for your videos.

Many thanks to all Dortainia developers. No real need to update but I did it today just in case. All works fine on my IMac 27‘ end 2015 as well as on my MacBook Pro 15’ mid 2015. thanks again for your support. Highly appreciated!
  • @MisterWinter27
Muchas gracias por tu trabajo siempre impecable y oportuno Mr. Macintosh.
  • @lebluedragon3
Thank you again Mr. Macintosh for a very thorough update video! I installed the OC update no prob on my mid 2011 imac and the clone Ventura (latest) OS on my Samsung T7 drive. Both working great! Still using Ventura due to all the glitches i had with Sonoma, but I am sure I could run Sonoma problem free on the clone SSD. But for now, just sticking with latest Ventura, which has proven to be quite solid for the old imac i am using, which of course is still providing non metal graphics and un updated wifi/bluetooth for the internal and cloned external drives. Yes! The Open Core Developers are a super blessing for all of us using all these old macs! Thank you all Sooooo much. And the money is where my mouth is, but surely my donations are never enough to be what all their work is actually worth! Blessings all! 💕❣AJ

Thank you and OCLP team for amazing work!

Hi, nice video! In my case I have a Macbook Pro 13" late 2011 with Sonoma 14.4.1 with OCLP 1.4.3 (now I'm going to update it) and in all this time I had 3 to 4 sessions with troubles, the whole system slowed down dramatically, my workaround was to boot in Windows 10 (is dual boot) and then reboot to MacOS.Oh and I noticed that using the Terminal won't let me use X11 for SSH connections; I had to install XQuartz for that.
  • @thecfamily5294
So far, my 2012 i7 MBP and i7 minimac and my 2009 white MacBook performed the updates on the automatic initiation process. Just a few interactions and the systems updated with no troubles. OCLP is getting smoother with each update. This is excellent work. Very appreciated. All my Mac’s are on Sonoma with no problems.
  • @OOMAN
Good Install! Took less than 10-minutes from starting download to finish on my Late 2013 MacPro. No issues whatsoever. Nice not having to type the passwords constantly!
