In this video I share with you one of my all time (as of today) favorite rounded nut/bolt extractor. Living in the rust belt and working on junk most of my life I have tried about every tool under the sun to remove a rounded off rusted out fastener. These Mac Tools R.B.R.T™ Extractors have been the bees knees. Down side is they are stupid money but worth every penny when it comes down to it in the shop. Enjoy!

  • MAC, Napa, etc need to sponsor SMA immediately. Eric keep on sharing the good and bad of products and gives an honest review. If he trusts a product, so does America!!
  • @jbrhel
"You're gonna have to refinance the house though." LOL
  • This was a tool designed by an angry mechanic, not a shadetree idealist. An excellent recommendation!
  • Even better you can put the rounded bolts back in for the next mechanic to enjoy.
  • Shade tree mechanic here. That was just beautiful to watch.
  • Yeah, they work really well. However, I resist buying a set of extraction sockets that would cost more than the value of the vehicle I would be using them on.

The right tool for the job always pays off!!!!!!
  • Your final line in the video was priceless! “You’re gonna have to refinance the house though.” CUE END MUSIC. Man I wish I had gone to school to become a Mac Tools or Snap On salesman
  • Rounded bolt removal tool, with built in trash ejector... That gave me an idea for bolts that typically get stuck in a socket. INSERT NUT in socket, BEFORE beating onto the problem fastener. It'll save you from beating the snot out of it to release the removed fastener....just thread in an appropriate bolt into the inserted nut and PUSH BABY PUSH!
  • I bought them in September to get out a broken, rounded off spark plug.I don’t know how I would have gotten it out without these.Definitely worth the money
  • @baxrok2.
Full beans of Thor, hell yeah. Thanks Dr. O!
  • @wdhewson
I thought you were working on a retrieved piece of the Titanic!!
  • Perfect for removing chowdered mag wheel lock nuts too. Or when the customer has lost the key.

I use the R.B.R.T. Hex and Torx, T-Handles and sockets daily. They are expensive but they have stood the test of time, Ive yet to break one or ruin the tool, Very little wear on tools i use 50 times per day. Worth every penny !
