  • This is the best explanation I have ever heard explaining the difference between so-called "christian" meditation and true biblical meditation. God commands us to renew our mind with the truth of His word, not by emptying our minds to nothingness. Love this. Thank you!

I meditate to bring my mind back to the present moment. I really dont see any evil in that. How can i hear God if all i hear are my thought. God doesnt want us to worry or he anxious in anything. Edit: after writing this comment 1 year ago. I've come to find out that the scripture doesn't tell us to empty our minds, but to renew our minds with the word of God. I was never able to quiet my mind but i was able to change my thinking to align more with God word. God bless. 🙏

When meditating just concentrate on God and Christ with no presumptions. Let the trinity guide in your personal experience. You will develop the deepest and most loving connection. Truly life changing.
  • That was eye-opening, thank you very much for that! :) God bless you and your family, brother in Christ! :)

You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you. Isaiah 26:3 ESV

I know I am 8 years late but God brought me here! I don't know if you are still alive or if you have gone to be with Jesus, but thank you so much 🙏🏽!!!! I have pondered these things for years!

Thank you very much. My husband and I are wanting so much  to hear from God were just about to start what we thought was biblical meditation but now I understand from your clip that we would of been doing eastern meditation. You have provide us with godly guidance - Thank you so much, I will continue looking to Gods loving law to ensure I am obeying Him, this is true meditation and only after hearing your words does this make sense. Thank you again

I think it's important to not empty our minds but to empty our minds of those evil thoughts and give it to God THEN FILL your mind with Gods word. Like replacing your bad thoughts with Gods truth
  • This really helps me since, I've been using eastern meditation before starting to pray and do devotion. This clears things up.

I absolutely love this. The way he explains it makes so much sense. I will definitely be doing this.
  • Thank you so much for that! I knew the other types of meditation was all about self and I'm so glad you just confirmed this in my spirit. Thank you for taking the time to make this wonderful video.
  • @1Filipoop
Thank you so much!!! I started with eastern meditation and i felt dopamine and i noticed change of behavior with my thoughts. I was looking for this difference everywhere, and you got me an answer GOD BLESS YOU!

I appreciate you explaining this. I'm a Christian and I love meditation and it's affects but I focus on breathing and quieting the mind but I was conflicted on what style of meditation is acceptable for my religion. I will stay focused on my God and not attempt utilizing other traditions such as eastern meditation.
  • I’ve always wondered what the difference was, thank you so much for making my understanding so clear…. The Truth will set me free… as another person commented the Bible talks about denying ourselves, renewing our mind, not emptying our mind… Ephesians 4:22-24 Bless you 🙏🏼🕊❤️‍🔥🕊🙏🏼 PS. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom…

I needed this! I was practicing meditation for over a year. And I feel like it made me crazy! Once I stopped I felt a sense of relief but I did not understand why. Thank you so much for this.

Thank you for discussing this Brother Koh Toh! I have some anxiety issues and was considering Christian guided meditation but was always weary of the spiritual dangers.
