Hey everyone, welcome back! Consider this the sequel to my December video about TV commercials featuring George Strait, and yes, there are more episodes planned down the line! Any other ideas for ads I should watch in a future episode are welcomed in the comments section.

  • Love that Miller Lite commercial with Clint and Alan! I was reading about them making it in one of my issues of Country Music Magazine and Clint was joking about how hazardous it was being on the set because he accidently ran into a cactus a couple times, lol. Of these commercials, I enjoyed the Clint Black and Randy Travis ones the most. I especially loved the Keebler ad, lol. I also remember actually seeing that Randy Travis Folgers ad on TV when it was new.
  • Correction: "Gone Country" was written by Bob McDill, and the commercial was released in 1999. I do remember Alan singing for Ford (who has now been replaced by Toby Keith, singing 3 original songs), and Randy Travis' Folgers commercials, though! I'd love to see Toby's commercials for Ford in a future video (he has been a spokesperson since 2002, the year "Ford Truck Man", his first original song for the car company, debuted). There's a behind-the-scenes featurette from Toby's "Shock'n Y'all" CD, released in 2003, that contains the making of 2 commercials: the aforementioned "Ford Truck Man" and "Look Again", another original Toby wrote, specifically for Ford.
