    Tapped into 3rd brakelight on drivers side, under door kick panel so comes on with cargo lights, also wire loom especially if in bad weather area

    You should locate the inline fuse at the battery connection rather than at the load side. If the power wire shorted along the length of the power wire, it would be a dead short to the battery.

    What size of wire guage did you use to connect from the fuse to the battery?
