The older you get, the more relatable Rodney becomes. What a legend

I love how he does his stand-up routine, then sits down for the interview, and the interview is just a continued stand-up routine.

"My wife's a bad cook, at our house we pray after we eat." Rodney
  • His body movements and bulging eyes are funnier than 99% of other comedians entire acts.

This man had the biggest heart I just listened to his biography and it just broke my heart he was so abused as a child his mother was so cruel to him his dad took off and he never saw him as cruel as his mother was he went to work as a little boy to support her and himself so they could eat he supported her forever he’s just amazing. He worked forever and ever to get a break as a comedian went through so much then his wife died and he gave up everything to support his two kids he didn’t want to abandon them. He had so much love and he was so darn funny. I just loved him and I miss him He also helped so many comedians get their start nobody does that what a great man!!!!♥️

Mr. Dangerfield is funnier than any other comedian I have seen. His jokes are so clever, he leaves just enough time for the audience to grasp what he said, and yet he is so quick to get the next joke out while the audience is nearly done laughing over the previous one. His acts are pure perfection.
  • my favorite line of his: "this lady told me 'come over, there's nobody home.' i went over, there was nobody home!"
  • Perfect timing, perfect delivery, perfect pacing, perfect rhythm. A true master of his trade.
