For me, the biggest "I love you" moment was when Ellie said that maybe time can heal all wounds, and then Joel replied "It wasn't time that did it" while looking at her.

It was actually so realistic to give Joel that flashback when the soldier raised his gun at him and Ellie. I believe that was the first moment Joel realized Ellie was going to be more than "Cargo."

if I had a nickel for every time Pedro Pascal aced as a person tasked with transporting someone but in the process becomes their dad I'd have two nickels, which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice.

Joel and Ellie ARE everything in this series. Seeing their father-daughter relationship grow and everything they have gone through together is a beautiful thing to watch.

The scene where he comes up behind her after she killed David and she's just been through that entire situation and once she realizes it's Joel she tries to convey what happened or tell him something, anything at all but her emotions get the best of her and she lunges in to hug him was an outstanding performance by the young actress. I was impressed how she decided not to say anything cliché or whatever and instead opted out to mumble/stammer/choke up with emotion and Pedro knew the angle well enough to know to reassure her with "it's ok, I got you babygirl" like he called Sarah. Frikin goosebumps.

Bella and Pedro’s chemistry is/was unmatched. You really felt Ellie and Joel’s father-daughter relationship! I love them!

Literally one of my absolute favorite Joel and Ellie details that doesn't get mentioned enough is that whole scene in Ep 5 (that's included in this video), where Joel is watching over and protecting Ellie from the sniper spot. He is protecting her the entire time, and doesn't even realize Henry and Sam are in danger until Ellie gets over to them.

"Everyone loved contractors" The contractors are probably laughing at this joke the hardest.
