a kid in derby, (bernie garland), made me a good knife from tool steel. best edge i've got apart from my straight razors that i shave with. i've shaved with bernies knife. i'm a retired engineer and i once woked in the lab of a heat treatment firm. doing tests on different types of steel.so i have a understanding of metals. good vids son. keep em coming.

Metallurgy is an interesting science, wish I knew more about it. I have a Solingen straight razor and am too nervous to shave properly with it! Thanks for the comments as they enthuse me to make more videos.
