Reasons why Spiderpunk is amazing: 1. Teaches Miles to use his palms not just his finger 2. Gives Miles hints on why he shouldn't join the team, while warning him about Miguel 3. Reminds Miles to use his palms when trying to escape the cage 4. Secretly steals parts and tells Miles to make his own watch as he proceeds to make a watch for Gwen 5. Accomplishes so much with less than 5mins of screen time 6. Teams up with Gwen to help Miles in the end 7. "Just for the record, I quit"

can i just say that having an anti-establishment anarchist character stay an anti-establishment anarchist character even at the end is such a breath of fresh air? like he straight up quits his job halfway through the movie and is the main reason miles is able to escape capture plus he's just picking anything he can rip off the walls and keeping it, what a fuckin legend. good movie. good ass movie.

everytime hobie talks to miles he never looks down on him, like literally his nose is down, which shows he respects him so far and is looking at him like an equal, but when it comes to HQ he looks down on everything, nose raised, awesome detail

I know the real answer for how that much hair fits under Hobe's mask is hammerspace, but it's really funny to imagine him carefully poking his hair into the spikes each time he puts his mask on.
