That is such a cool layout! It's crazy to think you could be in a room and then a model train goes through it just because it's up and running at that moment!

Now, I am a 2 rail , hand lay track kind of guy, a former 3 rail that just went on to 0 scale. I like you layout. rather than being crammed full of track going around in circles, the trains actually go some where. Your scenery tells a story, and isn't an after thought like on so many layouts. The painting of you tale in Conrail blue has given me the idea of trimming out my layout in Milwaukee Road colors.

Nice video on the construction of the layout Shawn. My layout is built to run trains. That's what I enjoy. Your layout is impressive, especially when you are running long Conrail trains. I didn't know you were a mopar guy!

Thanks for sharing and the backstory. Very impressed with your hobbies. Especially truck racing in SJ which, I’ve never heard of. I, like you, am getting into railroading at a “not young age” unlike some of the other YouTubers here but, I want my layout to be quick, fairly accurate and full of trains I want. I’ve been collecting for 40 years, mostly Christmas stuff but, other stuff as well, maybe i will be able to show it off too. Great Job Dakman.
