Today, we're taking a look at Enshrouded which is yet another massive success in the early months of 2024. What is this survival game able to do that others haven't accomplished? Is it merely a level of polish? I dove in to find out.

For an Early Acces, Enshrouded has more in it than most "fully released" games nowadays. Been loving the game

My wife has MS, and has been dealing with a lot of cognitive issues since her diagnosis. This game, however, seems to be right in the goldilocks zone in terms of pace and difficulty. She can happily gather things and build, and then come adventuring with me to find new stuff to advance our slowly-but-steadily-progressing story in our world. She doesn't have issues keeping up with the combat, which is a problem in a lot of other games. It's been a ton of fun playing it with her, and I hope for more story and lore content from this dev team as the game matures towards a full release. Fill up the world with Stuff To Do, and we'll play for AGES.

with over 50 hrs in this game im absolutely in love with
-
It also helps that Enshrouded had a demo that gave you 8 hours per world during a Next Fest so many people could test it properly before they ever spent any money.

I played about 60 hours of it, did everything they’d let me do and I loved it.

Ive been playing Enshrouded with my friends for a couple weeks now and we're having such a great time. The building mechanics are so good that even an uncreative person like myself feels like they can build something truly incredible.
-
GOT DAMN ITS SO GOOD! They are having an awesome building competition now till march 7th!
-
I’ve been playing since release, and have over 200hrs in so far, not into building yet, just in game play, and I’m still enjoying it
-
This is the first early access game I have ever purchased and it's great. I'm not even a survival fan and I'm really enjoying this one. The exploration is awesome.
-
I've played enshrouded every single day for the past two weeks now and I'm loving every second of it!
-
I played Enshrouded for 67hrs according to Steam, i had a great time with it and when i had exhausted the content, i felt like i wanted more, so i'm excited to follow it in it's early access and see how it gets fleshed out.

Fair review but one thing you forgot to mention and utilize in your play is the fact that its a voxel based game so you could have used "baby's first pick axe" to dig stairs into that hill side and get your items back instead of just jumping for them. Or even tunnel down to it. Adds a few interesting elements to overall gameplay. Also I kind of felt like the first 10 hours of the game or so was more like the tutorial. Until you get all of the NPC's you're not REALLY seeing all the game has to offer.

Would love to see more of these videos. Glad it's sponsored but I think it'd be a great series. Could even dive into some lesser known titles like Colony Ship Post Earth RPG

Better Half and I absolutely feel in love with Enshrouded and couldn't tear ourselves away from it for about an entire month. Impressive for $30.

Anyone checked out the Sweet baby Inc blowback on steam.. Matty you gonna give us your take on it ?
-
First thing that struck me is how much you look like the default character. That's good marketing Keen.

An answer to the question in the title: Yes
-
Yea absolutely. I've got 80 hours in it and have basically finished everything the current EA has to offer. I'll definitely be coming back to it once they add more.

Did anyone else notice the bird flying into the tower constantly in FF @2:50 ? lol
