“Look darlin, it’s Johnny Ringoo” kills me everytime
  • @TedsHoldOver
Kilmer made it impossible for anyone else to ever portray Holiday.
  • @MacDaddyTito
I love how Doc makes everyone quiet. He holds this unsettling power over others. Like a lion mulling over whether he's going to eat you or not.
  • I know everyone creams over Val Kilmer, and rightly so, but the entire cast really made these scenes memorable. Even the extras. Everyone’s acting puts you right there in the room feeling the tension as these two legends interact. Nobody drops the ball, everyone plays their part with such subtle perfection, and it stays that way through the whole movie.

“Not Me, I’m in my prime” greatest movie line ever. Val killed it ✌🏼
  • The look in Micheal beane’s eyes when kilmer’s character mocks him with Tin cup is so subtle but telling. The best acting is without words
  • No one has ever portrayed an old western character with so much personality and depth .Val should’ve won the Oscar for his performance an absolute tragedy but is remembered by true moviegoing fans as one of the all-time great performances

My favorite western of all time, and at 72 I've seen most of them, if not all of them. Val Kilmer brilliantly portrays Doc, capturing both his frailty and his strength. Last month, my 12 year-old grandson and I were talking about sports, and I stole Doc's line and told him "I'm in my prime." He responded, "Yeah, maybe 50 years ago."

Oscar winners get forgotten, but Legends never die. Val Kilmer gives one of the greatest performances ever in the film.
  • @DivineSimply
I've seen literally thousands of movies in my 76 years on this planet, and NEVER have I seen an actor so effortlessly steal scenes and walk away with the whole movie like Kilmer did in this one. My hat is off to you, Val
  • Michael was perfect for Ringo... exactly what Val needed to make Holiday shine
  • Seriously. Can an actor be TOO GOOD at a role?????!?!?! VAL KILMER ATE THIS ROLE FOR BREAKFAST LUNCH AND DINNER. Just sheer brilliance!!!!!!!!!!!
  • The most iconic role ever!!! Val Kilmer will forever be known and remembered as THE Doc Holiday -- No one has ever portrayed Doc Holiday as powerful as Val Kilmer. The entire cast of this movie could not have been better.

”Not me, I’m in my prime.” Possibly one of the best deliveries of any line done maybe ever, given the characters circumstances.
  • Ringo and Doc had such an awesome rivalry/chemistry. Was looking forward the whole movie to their interactions and waiting on the edge of my seat to see them showdown. Watched it for the first time 2 nights and knew halfway through it was gonna become one of my fav film.
  • It is amazing how many great actors and actresses could be fit into one scene, let alone one whole movie. The Earp clan is great, but let's also give Michael Biehn and Stephen Lang, two of the most underrated yet phenomenal actors of all time, a lot of credit for how great they were in this movie as well.
  • Can we appreciate the fact that Doc escalated the situation and diffused it all at once?
  • @dustinkilburn
Kilmer was so so goddamn good here. Such a great film. RIP Bill Paxton.
  • Everything in this movie was so on point even Billy Zane portrayed his character wonderfully. Full talent of actors who don’t play with the story of reality. I don’t think we’ll ever get a great cast like this again
