After watching this for the 60th time I've finally figured it out. Matt has such a smooth and emotional voice and can convey that love for her so well, and Bonnie has that killer belting and range but also the ability to change her voice from soft and emotional to powerful in seconds, so they go together sooo well.

I remember seeing this so many years and I just loved both of them. Now Matt Doyle is playing Seymour on the off-broadway show and it's just meant to be! Now we just need Bonnie to be Audrey.

He is comforting her so beautifully.... And he has so charming smile! If I were Audrey, I'd stop crying immediately.. :) This guy as Seymour is looking so nice that it seems that she really doesn't have to be afraid of anything or worry with him. :)

His vibrato at "Pretend" gave me literal chills. He doesn't even have to belt it to make it genuine and beautiful

Sure this guy is a great actor but I mean when the girl your singing to is such a phenomenal talent it’s not hard to seem to be in awe of them ❤️

He really is an amazing actor, you can barely see it. He's trying so hard to control how impressed he is when she hits that first big belt. It's almost like it surprised him.
